Job Description

Responsible and accountable for successful design, development, execution, and performance of regional order-to-cash (O2C) end-to-end business process.  Drive process efficiency through IT solutions and global standardization.  Plan and execute multiple projects to support order-to-cash operating objectives worldwide.  Serve as a global business partner focused on providing optimal service with sustained focus on operational excellence, standardization, innovation, and compliance. Act as project manager with senior leaders in Finance, Market Access, Supply Chain, and IT leaders to ensure timely execution so shipments to customers and patients are not impacted.

Financial impact

Contribute directly to earnings through ensuring optimal use of the company’s ERP (SAP) and other approved systems and implementing systems and process enhancements. Responsible for achieving cost and value strategies, based on benchmark and global objectives, through the management of high impact projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvement and innovation aligned with the organization’s strategy

  • Create excellent internal and external customer experience

  • Nurture a culture of collaboration and high performance and share best practices and efficiency ideas across regions and functional areas inside and outside Finance

  • Understand, define, and communicate regional and/or local regulatory requirements relative to O2C, and the impacts these local accommodations may entail on the global design

  • Oversee the overall integrity and integration of the Global Order-to-Cash process and regional organization design and its continuous improvement.

  • Develop regional process strategy

  • Create a culture of financial discipline, operational efficiency & positive customer experience by driving process improvements through global standardization and IT enhancements

  • Lead regional meetings with Business Partners to review services and identify new business needs

  • Act as O2C Lead for Celgene Integration and Genpact BPO through standardizing processes and focusing on best practices.

  • Work closely will all relevant stakeholder to ensure the global processes are implemented and followed, and that locally required accommodations are fully understood and adhered with

  • Support GFS, Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and Commercial driven projects

  • Act as a Project Lead by develop a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

  • Project Execution: Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget. Monitor progress, identify, and resolve issues, and manage changes to project scope.

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize their impact on project outcomes. Consult with Business Controls Function (BCF)

  • Stakeholder Management: Identify project stakeholders and establish effective communication channels. Manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and ensure their involvement and satisfaction throughout the project.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify lessons learned from completed projects and apply them to improve future project management practices. Seek opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Finance, Supply Chain, IT, or related discipline. 

  • Knowledge of order-to-cash processes with 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience.

  •   Fluent in English language. 

  • Strong project management and leadership skills. 

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP, BW.

  •  Ability to operate through influence rather than through authority. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capacity to understand complex issues and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.  Strong critical thinking and proven ability to demonstrate attention to detail.  Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and diverse environment. 

  • Ability to assess and promptly resolve problems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  •   Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrix environment.

  •   Some travel may be required.

Compensation Overview:

Tampa - FL - US: $115,260 - $139,668

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
