Position Summary
Senior Manager – Global Partnerships & Business Development, Digital Health will report to the Head of Global Partnerships/BD, Digital Health, responsible for the comprehensive acquisition and management of partnerships/customers in alignment with the Digital Health business strategy and goals.

The roles and responsibilities for this role will be in alignment with the Goals & Objectives, Vision & Roadmap of the Global Digital Health organization and largely dictated by the supervisor. The overarching goal of this role is to enable partnerships/business development and manage partners/clients. Success will be measured via specific quantitative and qualitative goals…these can range from revenue goals to partner onboarding goals to creating specific named/type partnerships.
The Key Roles & Responsibilities of selected candidate will be as follows:
Partnerships & Business Development
- Define and execute (Revenue Generating) partnership and BD strategies for key health technology categories specific to focus areas. These focus areas will be set from time to time based on the Goals & Objectives of the Global Digital Health organization
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies within focus areas.
- Align strategies with Samsung’s global health roadmap and strategy
- Lead / Execute / Manage various Partnership / BD activities from research, scouting, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, onboarding to management. These activities may include co-marketing/bundling and other types of promotional activities as well
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with R&D, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, legal, Marketing and other relevant divisions to ensure partnership strategies and execution activities align with Samsung’s product development and patient-safety frameworks.
- Facilitate collaborations between Samsung’s global research units and clinical or academic partners
- Integrate multi-disciplinary insights—clinical validation, usability, manufacturability—into sourcing evaluations and partner selection.
Technology and Market Analysis
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on digital health innovation trends
- Evaluate for strategic relationships
- Build strategic alliances
- Deliver market intelligence reports and technology evaluations
Partner/Client Management
- Manage end-to-end relationships
- Develop and manage relationship plans / scorecards
- Interface with both C-Suite and at working levels

Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
- Over 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Digital Health, Health Tech Platforms or Health Ecosystem Partnerships / Sales / Business Development/
- Track record of successful partner/vendor/client partnership management as related to Health Hardware & Software
- Track record of successful Acquisition of New Partners/Vendors as well as long-term Account Relationships with positive business outcomes
- The following are a sample list of experiences we are seeking:
- Understanding of healthcare inter-operability frameworks (FHIR, HL7, TEFCA)
- Familiarity with electronic health records and personal health record systems
- Experience working with healthcare data privacy and regulatory considerations
- Understanding of provider workflows, clinical data exchange and care delivery models
- Experience working with healthcare platforms, payers, providers or digital care organizations
- Experience designing consumer health , user journeys and engagement strategies
- Experience developing monetized service models in healthcare or digital platforms
- Experience launching healthcare service integrations at scale
- Excellent written & oral communication skills with a proven ability to provide clarity in complex situations
- Experience producing highly effective presentations to communicate with internal and external customers and partners
- Ability to work independently, quickly, and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to collaborate effectively, both internally and with partners, customers
Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY or Mountain View, CA is expected to be between $165,000 ~ $215,000 base. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
