Role summary:


We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Banking Operations to lead our New York–based Banking Operations function. This role is a critical regional leadership position within our global Banking Operations organization and reports to the Senior Director of Banking Operations.
Based at our New York headquarters, this role sits at the center of company leadership and strategic enterprise partnerships. The Senior Manager will oversee day-to-day banking operations for the region while partnering closely with Treasury, Product, Compliance, Legal, GTM, and Enterprise teams to ensure operational excellence, scalability, and readiness to support continued growth.

 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop the New York Banking Operations team, fostering accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Set performance expectations, monitor KPIs, and provide ongoing coaching and professional development
  • Oversee end-to-end payment processing, reconciliations, liquidity coordination, and exception management
  • Serve as the primary regional escalation point for complex operational issues, partner bank matters, and enterprise-impacting incidents
  • Partner closely with Treasury to support effective funding, settlement, and liquidity management
  • Represent Banking Operations in cross-functional forums with senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Support new products, corridors, and payment methods by ensuring operational readiness prior to launch
  • Identify process gaps and drive initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and control
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, audit, and internal control requirements
  • Collaborate with global Banking Operations leaders to align on standards, reporting, and best practices

 


Who you are:

  • 6–8+ years of experience in banking operations, payments, fintech, or financial services, including people management experience
  • Strong understanding of payment flows, cross-border settlement, reconciliations, and operational controls
  • Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced, global environments
  • Comfortable operating in a high-visibility HQ setting and partnering with senior leadership and enterprise stakeholders
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to performance improvement
  • Experience with banking systems, transaction monitoring tools, and operational risk frameworks
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and execute with precision
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is
$150,000$165,000 USD
