Pratt & Whitney has an immediate onsite opportunity within the Military Engines Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization for a Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager located onsite at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

What You Will Do:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager,  Program Financial Support to oversee financial planning and analysis for our Military Engines Development Programs.

In this critical leadership role, you will lead a team of finance professionals and partner with program leaders to ensure the financial health and success of complex development programs.

Your expertise will drive the alignment of financial strategies with program objectives, enabling mission success for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals supporting Military Engines Development Programs.

- Drive the development of financial plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with program goals and company objectives.

- Partner with program management and other functional teams to provide financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Oversee financial performance reporting, including variance analysis and program status updates for senior leadership.

- Ensure compliance with RTX financial policies, government regulations, and contractual requirements.

- Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations for new and existing programs.

- Continuously improve financial processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with a minimum of 10 years of experience; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

- 5+ years of experience in finance, program management, or a related discipline.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as SAP, or similar platforms.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required.​

- U.S. Citizenship required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry, particularly with military engine programs.

- Knowledge of U.S. Government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS).

- Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, PMO, Engineering, etc) in proposal development and program execution.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
