Senior Manager, FP&A Capital Management

Job Description Summary:

The Senior Manager, Capital Management plays a critical role in enabling enterprise capital investment decisions through rigorous analysis, disciplined execution, and executive‑ready insights. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Consolidation & Capital Management, this role is accountable for delivering accurate, timely, and decision‑oriented capital reporting and analysis that directly informs senior leadership and Board‑level discussions.

The role operates with significant autonomy and judgment in managing the Company’s $2.5B global capital portfolio, serving as the primary execution lead and analytical authority across capital planning, forecasting, governance, and reporting processes. This role works as a trusted thought partner to the Senior Director, ensuring leadership has the insights required to optimize capital allocation, manage risk, and drive strategic outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

Capital Planning & Investment Decision Support

  • Lead execution of the annual Capital Budget and Annual Business Plan (ABP) process, including consolidation of global submissions, financial analysis, and prioritization of capital requests.
  • Develop capital scenarios and analytical frameworks to support investment trade‑offs and funding decisions.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and insight‑driven analysis to the Senior Director to facilitate informed capital allocation decisions and executive discussions.
  • Support preparation of Board‑level capital materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with strategic priorities.

Forecasting, Reporting & Insight Generation

  • Own execution of quarterly capital forecast updates, consolidating global inputs and ensuring alignment with cash flow and financial plans.
  • Lead preparation of quarterly and ad hoc CAPEX reporting, including consolidation of approximately $2B in capital actuals and forecasts, reconciliation of capital cash flow, and identification of variances and risks.
  • Analyze actuals versus forecast to identify key drivers, timing impacts, and emerging trends, translating complex data into actionable leadership insights.
  • Provide executive‑ready narratives, key messages, and recommendations that enable the Senior Director to drive decision‑making with confidence.

Governance & Enterprise Partnership

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for capital governance execution, ensuring compliance with the Company’s Delegation of Authority (DOA) and capital approval policies.
  • Partner with global business leaders and corporate SMEs to guide capital planning submissions, data quality, and governance expectations.
  • Prepare standardized reporting and analyses used in quarterly leadership reviews and ad hoc investment evaluations.

Process Ownership & Subject Matter Leadership

  • Act as a recognized Capital Management subject matter expert, driving consistency, discipline, and best practices across global capital processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance forecast accuracy, reporting efficiency, and insight generation.
  • Simplify and standardize capital reporting and analytics to improve scalability and transparency across the enterprise.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with the Senior Director, with measurable impact on decision quality and execution effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in capital management, FP&A, or corporate finance within a large, complex organization.
  • Proven experience supporting multi‑billion‑dollar portfolios and complex consolidations.
  • Advanced analytical and synthesis skills with demonstrated ability to influence decision‑making through insight.
  • Strong executive communication skills and comfort operating in senior leadership forums.

$123,000 - $139,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
