Role Summary
The Senior Manager Finance is part of the Biopharma Finance team, supporting the PAVE business. The successful candidate will be a key commercial business partner to the PAVE Portfolio leads, responsible for comprehensive financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic initiatives, and reporting. This role will operate in a highly matrix environment, with multiple stakeholders across various Finance and Commercial teams as well as coordination with commercial partner. This role gives the opportunity to acquire deep understanding of US business dynamics including GTN and well as to participate in innovative projects both from a business and a finance perspective.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepares information and submit financials for annual budget, forecast, and long‑range planning processes
- Generate performance reports for the brand, including weekly and monthly trackers for the portfolio leads and other stakeholders.
- Prepares variance analysis vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting risks and opportunities

Financial Close & Reporting
- Lead or coordinate month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, including accruals and journal entries
- Prepare and review management reporting packages and financial dashboards
- Prepare profit share calculations and validate royalty income
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial results in line with corporate timelines
Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted finance partner to the PAVE Portfolio leads
- Provide financial partnership on business initiatives that unlock business value, including pricing strategy, across assigned US commercial teams, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.
- Provide financial information to support strategic initiatives, operational plans, and performance management
Expense & Cost Management
- Manage operating expense (OPEX) tracking, reviews, and controls
- Partner with business leaders to drive cost discipline and productivity initiatives
- Maintain and oversee cost centers, headcount, and compensation budgets where applicable
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support audits and respond to audit inquiries as required
- Identify and drive improvements in processes, including standardization and automation of finance activities. Leverage AI capabilities to optimize finance deliverables.
- Maintain a strong partnership with the other US Commercial Finance colleagues to develop and share best practices
- Actively participate in Commercial Finance team activities and workstreams
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
Systems & Tools
- Use enterprise financial systems (e.g., SAP, LLH, Mosaic or equivalent) for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Partner with shared services and centers of excellence on standardized reporting and close processes
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of finance experience OR Masters Degree with 5+ years of finance experience
- Experience in Product P&L financial management and corresponding business knowledge
- Expertise in financial modeling & analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong influencing skills
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Pfizer’s financial systems
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written & presentations) with the ability to effectively summarize critical information into clear, concise, and insightful updates for senior leadership
- Ability to synthesize multiple data sources to provide perspective
- Proficiency in performing complex data analysis and working in a matrix environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree, preferably finance, MBA/CPA
- FP&A experience
- Experience with Gross to Net components such as Chargebacks, Rebates, CoPay
- Life Sciences/Industry experience
- AI Fluency

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
