Senior Manager - Enterprise Process Governance & Signavio Platform Lead

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Governance & Standards

  • Develop and maintain enterprise‑level modeling standards based on BPMN 2.0, EPC, and Signavio conventions.
  • Own and govern the Signavio process repository, including taxonomy, naming conventions, folder structures, metadata standards, and documentation quality.
  • Establish and enforce process lifecycle governance, including creation, approval, versioning, and retirement workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls frameworks (SOX, ISO, internal audit, risk management).
  • Serve as the authority for aligning processes to enterprise architecture and operating model standards.

2. Signavio Platform Management & Enablement

  • Act as the primary point of contact and functional owner for the SAP Signavio suite (Process Manager, Collaboration Hub, Process Insights, Process Intelligence, Journey Modeler).
  • Configure and maintain platform settings, access controls, roles, user management, and integration points with other systems (SAP S/4HANA, Jira, Confluence, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain modeling accelerators, templates, reusable building blocks, and libraries.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and certification pathways for modelers across the organization.
  • Monitor system usage, adoption metrics, and content quality, driving improvements and clean‑up activities.

3. Process Modeling & Optimization Expertise

  • Create and validate high‑quality BPMN 2.0 diagrams, value chains, customer journeys, and process landscapes.
  • Translate complex operational realities into standardized models accessible to both business and technical teams.
  • Identify performance gaps, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities using Signavio Process Insights/Intelligence.
  • Partner with continuous improvement teams to prioritize and implement process optimization activities.

4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Change Leadership

  • Act as a bridge between business teams, IT, transformation programs, and leadership.
  • Align process models with digital transformation initiatives (ERP modernization, automation, workflow, AI/ML, RPA).
  • Support organizational change efforts by translating process changes into training, communication, and role‑impact artifacts.
  • Facilitate decision‑making on process ownership, future‑state design, and operating model alignment.

5. Quality Assurance & Process Integrity

  • Conduct peer reviews, audits, and quality checks to ensure adherence to BPMN 2.0 standards and Signavio best practices.
  • Maintain a clear mapping between processes, controls, KPIs, policies, and work instructions.
  • Ensure that every documented process has clear ownership, KPIs, risks, controls, and supporting documents.
  • Validate process relationships across levels (L1–L5) and ensure they remain synchronized.

6. Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Use Signavio Process Insights and Intelligence to create dashboards, analyses, and executive summaries.
  • Communicate improvement opportunities, root‑cause findings, and performance trends to leadership.
  • Provide data‑driven recommendations for simplification, automation, policy updates, and control improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Deep expertise in BPMN 2.0 notation, patterns, and modeling conventions.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP Signavio Process Manager, Insights, Hub, and Intelligence.
  • Strong facilitation skills for workshops and process mapping sessions.
  • Understanding of enterprise systems (especially SAP S/4HANA, ERP, CRM, workflow, and integration layers).
  • Experience in process optimization methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills with business and technical audiences.
  • Ability to lead through influence in a federated or decentralized process environment.
