About the Enterprise Strategy Function

The Enterprise Strategy team is a Global Function with accountability for shaping ACT’s long‑term strategic direction and for driving a process that operationalizes our strategic priorities. As a partner to the Executive Leadership Team, the function supports enterprise‑level decisions that drive growth, capital allocation, and competitive positioning.

Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Market Insights & Strategy is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to the Director, Enterprise Strategy and is part of the Enterprise Finance function.

This role develops forward-looking, data-driven insights and translates complex internal and external dynamics into clear strategic implications that support executive decisions and long-term value creation. You will partner closely with leaders across the business to shape strategic discussions, identify and evaluate opportunities, and enable timely decisions. The ideal candidate is analytically strong, creative, and communicates with confidence and precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end development of enterprise‑level market and competitive insights, including industry trends, geopolitical dynamics, competitor activity, and consumer behavior.
  • Synthesize complex information into clear executive‑ready narratives, scenarios, and strategic options.
  • Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly enterprise strategy briefs, outlining risks, trade‑offs, and recommended actions.
  • Design and facilitate executive‑level strategy discussions and workshops to drive alignment and decision outcomes.
  • Independently evaluate high‑impact growth opportunities (e.g., new market entry, format innovation, category expansion, strategic partnerships) and lead structured go/no‑go assessments.
  • Build and pressure‑test financial models and business cases, ensuring rigor and alignment with long‑term value creation.
  • Partner with external consultants and data providers as needed to augment internal capabilities.
  • Support the development of an enterprise insights capability, including the use of AI and advanced analytics across internal and external data sources.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with leaders across business units to support strategy development, priority setting, and actionable roadmaps.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 3–4 years in top‑tier management consulting or an enterprise strategy / insights role.
  • Proven experience operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate quantitative and qualitative insights to senior leadership.
  • Experience working with large and diverse data sets.
  • Willingness to travel internationally; valid passport required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Background in retail, CPG, QSR, or supply chain environments.
  • Experience leveraging AI or advanced analytics in strategy or insights work.
