What is the opportunity?

The Chief Data Office is enabling secure Client data sharing across RBC’s lines of business at enterprise scale. The Senior Manager, Enterprise Client Data Product Owner will contribute to this mission by managing & scaling the newly established Enterprise Client Data (ECD) Hub. The ECD Hub is a curated, governed collection of datasets organized around a unified view of our clients within a Snowflake environment. The candidate will work with line of business experts and key technology partners to establish a vision, identify use cases, drive strong governance practices, prioritize features & realize a vision to drive value.

What will you do?

Own the Vision & Roadmap

  • Define & gain consensus on a multi-year vision for the Enterprise Client Data Hub aligned with broader RBC objectives and organizational priorities
  • Stand up governance frameworks to ensure compliance, security, and quality
  • Build consensus on a prioritized Enterprise Client Data Hub delivery roadmap with alignment to strategic initiatives

Drive Adoption & Use Case Discovery

  • Build a compelling story which includes a business case that articulates the Enterprise Client Data Hub’s value and competitive advantage
  • Drive awareness and adoption with key stakeholders through targeted communication to identify high-value data sharing opportunities
  • Build a prioritized backlog with clear business cases and expected outcomes, implementing measures success of success against deployed use cases

Lead Execution with Partners in Technology

  • Serve as the primary interface for prioritization and roadmap alignment between RBC and technology partners
  • Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and escalate blockers to leadership

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 7+ years of experience in data product management, enterprise data platforms, or business analytics roles
  • Strong story-telling acumen to create powerful, detailed insights that support data-driven decision making
  • Track record of creating demand and executive sponsorship for cross-functional initiatives with a proven track record of driving adoption
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

Nice-to-have:

  • Strategic background including experience building emerging technology initiatives, new platforms, or enterprise-scale products from the ground up
  • Experience with data governance, master data management (MDM) concepts, or data platform strategy
  • Experience with Snowflake, cloud data platforms, or similar analytics infrastructure
  • Experience with governance and compliance frameworks in data environments
