As Senior Manager, EDI Wholesale & Retail Partner Program, you will lead our global Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) strategy and operations across Wholesale and Retail partner networks. This role ensures the seamless and timely flow of mission-critical transactions that underpin our global order-to-cash and replenishment processes. You will manage a high-performing, cross-regional team, drive operational excellence through process harmonization, and ensure our EDI ecosystem evolves to meet the demands of a fast-changing retail landscape.
You will act as the key interface between business, IT, and trading partners — ensuring our EDI environment supports scalability, compliance, and continuous improvement across all regions.
About the Job
Leadership & People Management
Lead and develop a global team of EDI and Customer Master Data professionals, including three regional managers.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Define team priorities, manage capacity, and align resources to global business needs.
Promote skill growth in automation, data analysis, and process improvement across both EDI and Customer Master Data functions.
Drive the development and transformation of the Customer Master Data team toward higher process automation, improved data quality, and enhanced governance.
Program Management
Own and drive the global EDI and Customer Master Data program roadmap, including KPI and SLA definition, monitoring, and reporting.
Ensure the successful and timely execution of all inbound/outbound EDI transactions supporting Wholesale, Retail, and Vendor Trading Partners.
Maintain oversight of global EDI and Master Data governance, compliance, and documentation standards.
Harmonize and standardize processes across regions to ensure consistency, scalability, and alignment with automation goals.
Operational Excellence
Ensure end-to-end functionality and reliability of EDI integrations and master data processes.
Partner with Sales Operations, Distribution Centers, and IT to optimize data flows and improve order fulfillment efficiency.
Perform data analysis to identify process bottlenecks, data quality issues, and improvement opportunities.
Define and implement corrective and preventive actions based on root-cause analysis.
Develop and maintain robust performance and management reporting frameworks to track operational excellence and automation maturity.
Strategic Collaboration
Act as a senior escalation point and trusted advisor for business and IT stakeholders on all EDI and Customer Master Data topics.
Collaborate closely with IT development teams, system administrators, and functional leads to ensure stable and future-ready technology solutions.
Contribute to and align with broader global initiatives in automation, data integration, and digital transformation.
Drive the evolution of EDI and Customer Master Data systems toward greater interoperability, automation, and cloud readiness.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify, conceptualize, and implement optimization and harmonization measures across systems and processes.
Partner with the Digital Innovation and Automation teams to explore opportunities for AI-enabled monitoring, exception handling, and partner onboarding.
Apply continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to drive sustainable efficiency gains.
Champion the use of emerging automation technologies to elevate data accuracy, reduce manual maintenance, and enhance customer experience.
About You
Education / Experience: Degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience in EDI program or automation management.
EDI Expertise: Deep understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12), mappings, and partner integration workflows.
ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP (IDocs, T-Codes, and data flow structures).
Customer Orientation: Proven experience supporting external trading partners, managing escalations, and ensuring high service levels.
Technical Aptitude: Understanding of development tools, testing frameworks, and performance tuning for integrations.
Industry Experience: Background in Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, or related sectors.
Analytical Strength: Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and data interpretation skills.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Certification or hands-on experience in Six Sigma / Kaizen is a plus.
Tools & Systems: Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency; knowledge of Power BI, Power Automate, or ServiceNow is an advantage.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
This is a hybrid position based in our Warsaw office. You will be expected to be in the office three days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is PLN 330,225.00 - PLN 440,300.00 per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance, and our needs. Salary ranges may vary by location and currency. Where roles are advertised across multiple locations, local ranges will apply.
