About The Role:
Reporting to the Market Managing Director, this is a highly strategic and pivotal role for delivering India business ambition over the next few years. The role is expected to lead unbiased demand planning and sales plan sufficiency to maximize revenue of the company, with Inventory optimization. In addition, this role will be leading all cross functional strategic initiatives in collaboration with all key stakeholders across India and region driving direct impact.
Main Accountabilities:
1.Build high quality Demand forecasting and drive consensus
- Lead monthly S&OP process across Market to drive consensus on forecast. Bring maturity and cadence in the S&OP / IBP process, with drumbeat execution, via the ERP systems
- Develop annual budget and rolling forecast to highlight the sufficiency gap of forecast vs targets and then lead offline retail and eCommerce teams to identify business plans to fill the gap
- Work with Off-line Retail & e-Commerce teams in Bottom-Up Sell-In / Sell-Out Forecast submission and ensure the overall business performance by week & month, by channel, by SKU to be unbiased and accurate
- Partner with regional & market teams to align forecasts with market trends and promotional activities. Cross functional collaboration from various stakeholders and aligning sign-offs for forecast submissions.
- Partner with supply chain team to build a resilient supply and demand plan to maximize topline and bottomline
- Establish and continuously improve KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, drive reduction in cost of inventories, exchanges and therefore, higher customer satisfaction
2. Strategic Initiatives & Projects
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of strategic initiatives and projects inline with business priorities
- Be a strong partner with MD, India on defining the market priorities , vision and project manage them through execution
- Work with local and global stakeholders for alignment & seamless execution
About You:
- 10+ years of rounded experience across sales, marketing, demand planning & project management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred
- Strong strategic thinking and solid execution ability
- Strong project management skills with ability to multi- task
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong team player (can both do team delegation and take personal task him/herself) and ability to work with cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the organizational and planning skills
- Ability to lead large scale projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work through ambiguity and project manage change
