We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Operations & Analytics team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Collaborate with business development and servicing colleagues to support the objective of driving a single source of truth on the European Sales pipeline and retention initiatives. Your activities may include:
Drive MPower usage (Microsoft Dynamics CRM): develop expertise with our CRM to provide training to colleagues, support with updating opportunity records and assist with overall pipeline management.
Provide MPower support to MCL European leader & key stakeholders in Europe around a range of simple to advanced requests.
Enforce CRM governance and improve data quality: run reports to identify anomalies and work closely with opportunity owners and MCL countries to correct errors and drive sales discipline.
Foster a data driven culture with dashboards in MPower and PowerBI being the source of truth for business updates and performance reviews with the regional leadership team, down to local team meetings and weekly 1 to 1s in the countries.
Leverage our colleagues from data analytics & insights teams in Poland/India to explore opportunities from our Whitespace clients’ base and market universe data sources, to build-up strategic pipeline across our MCL Centres of Excellence (COEs) in MPower.
Assist the MCL European leader, Centres of Excellence and countries with the execution of their sales strategy.
Build trust with your stakeholders, participate to business calls, propose & develop reporting solutions in a very agile way to perfectly grasp and address your clients’ needs across Europe, adapting your tools to business challenges and opportunities in a very responsive way.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field; a Master’s degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, or a similar discipline is a plus.
7-9 years of experience in an analytical role using dashboards and manipulating data is essential. Strong data modeling & analytical skills will be required, as well as experience of Dataviz (e.g. Qlik, PowerBI preferably) to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
Previous experience supporting Dynamics or other enterprise grade CRMs.
Literate with advanced Excel formulas, keen to leverage internal AI tools, knowledge of relational databases and SQL a plus.
Interest for commercial insurance a plus, affinity with the Maritime industry highly preferred.
Interpersonal skills & customer focus to build relationships with colleagues based on trust, and motivate them to provide timely and accurate updates into MPower.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work in project management and agile modes.
Exceptional time management skills. Although this role is highly collaborative, your work will often be self-directed proposing new things, this will require to effectively manage your time and adjust your daily work when needed.
Ability to analyze a situation with a problem-solving mindset. When process gaps or bad behaviors generate data limitations, you may need to think creatively to identify root causes to work towards a resolution.
Strong communication skills. You will collaborate with client-facing teams on a regular basis, so strong verbal and written communication skills in English are critical.
Attention to details is critical to ensure we’re providing accurate information to our client-facing and functional support teams
