WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Southeast Asia (“SEA”) as a growth engine for the company, supports more than 20 divisions and business units across the region. This business-critical role will report to SEA CFO, and partner very closely with Commercial VP/GM and will be located in Singapore (The Capricorn Office, Science Park Road). The role will be actively involved in financial planning & forecasting processes, reporting & consolidation, as well as short and long-range workstreams to drive business forward. The successful hire will have a great deal of visibility with senior leadership, wide scope for business, functional and organizational impact, and ample opportunities for personal growth.

Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with senior leaders or key partners in the region to drive profitable organic growth
  • Use data to unearth insights/ opportunities to drive high double-digit growth in the region
  • Financial modeling and options analysis for strategic imperatives esp. on GTM and others as per business requirements

Financial Planning

  • Manage standard FP&A workstream including monthly closing, commercial forecast, monthly and quarterly business review, annual operating plan, long terms strategic plan, etc.
  • Proactive planning and clear communication of timelines and deliverables to lead FP&A cadences
  • Provide finance support and advice to regional enabling functions, including resource planning and optimization

Functional Transformation/ Capabilities

  • Lead regional business intelligence and finance reporting function, keep on looking for opportunities for simplification and digital transformation
  • Support and grow a high-performance regional finance planning and analytics team, keep on levelling up team competency level and better support both the functional and broader commercial organization
  • Drive practical process improvement across the region for better control and productivity

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in MNC, commercial finance experience is preferred
  • Self-motivated, customer oriented and result driven.
  • Organized, with ability to maintain accuracy of information and meet deadline with little supervision
  • Good commercial sense and comfortable navigating through matrix organization. Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity
  • Comfortable with communicating with senior management and cross function. Strong influencing skill.
  • Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, while also driving collaboration and coordination across key projects
  • Experience in leading and coaching a large finance team in varied businesses conditions. Passion for people development and talent management
  • Strong sense on numbers and proficient in excel, finance modelling. Strongly prefer comfort/ familiarity with digital tools such as PowerBI as well as AI-enabled automations
  • Detail driven, able to handle large amount of data and multiple systems, find out logic and fix problems from root cause.
  • Capable of learning new things and able to learn on the fly.
