This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced risk professional to shape and embed bestpractice nonfinancial risk (NFR) frameworks across a complex financial services environment.
As Senior Manager Core NFR Practices, you will play a pivotal role in delivering consistency, efficiency and a “one best way” approach across all NFR portfolios. You’ll bring together risk class agnostic activities such as policy management, whistleblowing governance, and oversight and monitoring practices, ensuring strong alignment with second line accountabilities.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will:
Act as a proactive member of the NFR leadership team, providing operational excellence across core NFR practices
Define the how – setting clear frameworks, standards and approaches – while enabling subject matter experts to deliver the doing
Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of NFR risk reporting, providing high quality, data driven insights for senior leaders and governance forums
Own and enhance NFR Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk Appetite measures, including dashboard development and ongoing uplift
Lead the Whistleblowing Governance function, ensuring robust processes and oversight
Drive the oversight and monitoring strategy for Compliance and NFR, aggregating insights across risk classes
Contribute to regulatory engagement where it intersects with operational and nonfinancial risk
Implement tools, guidance and standards to support consistent policy implementation and review

You’re a confident risk leader who can operate at both strategic and operational levels, with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
You’ll likely bring:
Significant experience in nonfinancial risk, compliance, regulatory or operational risk roles within financial services
Strong risk and compliance management capability, including policy and framework development
Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Proven experience leading enterprise wide reporting, escalation and governance processes
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence peers, executives and regulators
Experience working with assurance and audit functions
Strong project and change management capability to deliver sustainable improvements
Ability to interpret and apply complex, multijurisdictional regulatory and policy requirements
Ability to lead and develop high performing teams, fostering a strong risk culture
Ability to build capability and succession pipelines while maintaining engagement through change
