The Controller for ADI's Aerospace and Communications Business Unit is responsible for both financial analysis and business leadership and must possess both strong quantitative abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills. They are strategic, analytical thinkers who are driven by results and can innovate and develop creative financial solutions. The role reports to the Director of Finance and works collaboratively with the BU Vice President to create strategies that accelerate profitable growth while partnering with the BU Leadership team to exceed financial targets, improve operational efficiencies, and manage growth investments.

The position will support budgeting & forecasting initiatives and financial closing cycle; provide Revenue, Gross Margin, OpEx variance analysis; and monitor operational KPIs and financial objectives.
Review project data from project cost analyst(s) (cost, ECAC, ETC, revenue recognition, variance reports, deadline compliance, milestones, etc.) for financial impact on Business Unit P&L.
Collaborate with the broader ADI community design and implement enhancements to the financial & process control environments and information systems.
Engages with operation team to prepare reports, KPIs and analysis to track and augment operation efficiency, as well as financial performance of the entity.
Analyzes manufacturing variances and production activities to provide insights into the operation performance, identify risks and opportunities to mitigate risks and optimize costs on government and commercial contracts.
Collaborates with operations to establish product cost reduction objectives, monitor, analyze and validate saving results vs. objectives.

Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
