The Interiors strategic business unit of Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly qualified, motivated, and self-directing Senior Manager for Supply Chain Contracts. This is a strategic role within the Legal, Contracts and Compliance function.  This position coordinates with business partners on allocated supply chain contract matters, manages a complex portfolio of allocated supplier contracts, communicates with Interiors supply chain leadership to develop and execute such contracts, manages ad hoc requests for contract support, educates and trains team members, supports process improvement projects, and contract dispute communications in coordination with Legal Counsel and Contracts leadership.

This fully remote position supports a global customer base, and flexibility in working hours may be required to align with international meetings and project needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Advise and guide internal stakeholders daily on contract strategy, project alignment, and compliance with internal processes.

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of difficult and complex supplier contracts — from drafting and negotiation to execution and ongoing management.

  • Analyze contract  language to ensure agreement meets agreed parameters, company policies and guidelines, and deliver insights that drive supplier accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead and/or support negotiations with suppliers to secure strategic, value-driven terms that support business goals and mitigate risk.

  • Evaluate contractual language for legal soundness and operational risk, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.

  • Draft contract language, as may be needed, to address bespoke legal and commercial concerns.

  • Partner with legal and subject matter experts, as needed, to craft tailored contract terms that proactively address risk and complexity.

  • Present contract status updates, risk assessments, and action plans to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Champion process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and driving initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance quality.

  • Manage information and data provided by key stakeholders against contractually agreed terms to establish dispute resolution path in accordance with established policies and processes.

  • Monitor self against key performance metrics and translates data into actionable insights for performance status and improvement.

  • Represent the company on legal matters related to supplier contracts, ensuring risk is managed and interests are protected.

  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records of all contracts and related legal documentation.

  • This role requires up to 15% travel to support supplier engagement (negotiation), team collaboration, and key business initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract 

  • 5+ years experience with negotiating legal terms and conditions

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • 5+ years prior experience in a legal related field

  • Experience managing business and legal disputes

  • Aerospace Supply Chain industry experience

  • Commercial transaction experience

  • Established customer service experience within large multi-layer corporation with robust processes

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
