Job Description Summary:
At The Coca-Cola Company, we believe powerful global ideas create impact when they are meaningfully adapted for consumers everywhere. Our mission is simple yet powerful: refresh the world and make a difference.
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Content Adaptation – Global Brands to lead the adaptation, deployment, and optimization of global brand content across markets and consumer touchpoints. This role ensures that global Big Ideas, brand platforms, and end‑to‑end (E2E) consumer journeys are translated into locally relevant, high‑impact executions—while preserving global brand equity and driving efficiency at scale.
The ideal candidate is a senior individual contributor with deep expertise in content systems, consumer journeys, and integrated marketing execution, with strong literacy in production, modular content practices, and emerging technologies to enable scalable global‑to‑local delivery.
• Lead the content adaptation strategy for Global Brands, ensuring global Big Ideas and brand platforms translate effectively across markets and cultures.
• Customize global content and assets—including social and influencer‑led content—to align with local consumer occasions, cultural triggers, and channel requirements, while maintaining brand consistency.
• Design and apply modular content adaptation approaches to maximize reuse, versioning, and scalability of global assets across platforms and formats.
• Ensure adapted content aligns with brand architecture, visual identity, tone of voice, and communication principles.
• Translate global E2E consumer journeys into concrete content and activation requirements by touchpoint, format, and platform.
• Partner closely with Media teams to understand media strategy, channel roles, and formats, ensuring adapted content is optimized for effective delivery and performance.
• Collaborate with Creative LATAM as the integration point once the creative game plan is set, ensuring adaptations deliver against the creative intent.
• Ensure adapted content performs effectively across digital, media, social, influencer, experiential, and physical touchpoints.
• Apply consumer and cultural insights—including local market nuances and message priorities—to guide adaptation decisions and build greater relevance and intimacy with consumers.
• Manage adaptation calendars and content deployment to support portfolio and Global Brand priorities.
• Develop and deliver robust execution guidelines, toolkits, and playbooks to enable consistent, high‑quality market application.
• Orchestrate collaboration across Global Brand teams, Creative LATAM, Media, agencies, and markets to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Apply performance metrics and learnings to continuously optimize adapted content and execution.
• Explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance the speed, quality, personalization, and scalability of content adaptation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline versioning, localization, modularization, and testing through technology‑enabled solutions.
• Apply strong understanding of content workflows and asset systems to guide realistic and efficient adaptation planning.
• Incorporate usage rights, talent and creator considerations, and asset limitations into adaptation decisions to mitigate executional risk.
• Ensure governance and quality control across all adapted content and assets.
• Lead adaptation briefings with creative, influencer, and adaptation agencies.
• Guide partners to deliver efficient, on‑strategy adaptations aligned to global standards.
• Work in agile, cross‑functional teams to enable speed, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10–12 years of experience in marketing, content, communications, or integrated brand roles.
• Proven expertise in global brand content adaptation, including digital, social, and influencer content.
• Deep understanding of consumer journeys, media ecosystems, and digital platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of content production processes and modular content practices.
• Working knowledge of talent and creator usage, rights management, and asset governance as they relate to adaptation.
• Experience collaborating with Creative teams, Media teams, agencies, and cross‑geographical stakeholders.
• Curiosity and openness to applying technology and AI to marketing and content challenges.
• Ability to operate as a senior individual contributor on highly complex initiatives.
• Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Global Brand Impact: Help bring some of the world’s most iconic global brands to life with relevance and intimacy across markets.
• Strategic Exposure: Work closely with Global Brand, Creative LATAM, Media, and agency partners.
• Innovation & Growth: Build expertise at the intersection of content adaptation, creators, modular systems, and emerging technologies.
• Purpose‑Driven Work: Be part of a company committed to sustainability, communities, and meaningful growth.
