About the role:
Reporting to the Director, Canada Compliance Programs and Governance, the Senior Manager, Compliance Intelligence and Analytics is responsible for supporting Canadian Compliance with a variety of technology, reporting and analytics initiatives.
These responsibilities include leading the advancement of digital strategy within the function, reviewing large quantities of data, developing enhanced reporting, automation of various processes and performing various investigative and analytical tasks.
What will you do?
- Lead modernization initiatives for Compliance reporting and Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program governance, including development of automated reporting infrastructure, dashboards and KPIs
- Undertake special projects that relate to Compliance, Analytics and Technology
- Help inform technology solutions and Archer enhancements to facilitate long-term data and analytics strategy and drive better program insights
- Build data models in Excel and/or other tools to support business needs.
- Work closely with regional program (i.e. Conduct, Privacy, Financial Crimes) and Business Unit Compliance teams to produce specialized reports and data extracts, improve metrics, and facilitate monitoring activities
- Serves as centre of excellence and knowledge within Canada Compliance for digital innovation and analytics, including developing and leading training and education campaigns as appropriate
- Design, develop and implement business ad-hoc requests and analytical solutions using software such as Excel, SAS/SQL and Tableau.
- Maintains historical data and reports and ensures the accuracy of the information.
- Produce technical and user documentation to support created tools and dashboards
What do you need to succeed?
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Strong, proven experience and high proficiency working with MS Suite products including PowerPoint, CoPilot, Excel (VBA and macros), SAS/ SQL
- Excellent programming skills with a keen aptitude for learning new programming languages and analytics tools quickly.
- Experienced in data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
- Experience with ETL processes, data management, and process improvement.
- Strong research, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Efficiently manage expectations/concerns using strong relationship management and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and prioritize work with a sense of urgency as required

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
