We are looking for a Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to HK Parekh, Chief Security Officer and based in San Jose, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Develop and execute the company's cloud strategy in alignment with business goals, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Ensure operational readiness and meeting the commitments to our customers regarding availability, security, and performance.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of cloud engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure, database, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
  • Oversee the implementation of automated deployment processes and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance reliability and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Partner with other leaders in IT, Engineering and Business Applications organizations on quarterly planning, staffing, and project schedules.

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc…) and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management. 
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible. 
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance requirements in cloud environments. 
  • Experience with automation, observability, and reliability best practices.
  • Experience managing cloud vendor spend, cost attribution, and optimization across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BS in Computer Science or related fields, MS preferred.
  • 12+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large scale cloud infrastructure in production.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and leading technical teams.
  • Strong background in coding and problem-solving, with the ability to provide technical guidance and oversight.
  • Excellent understanding of low level operating systems concepts including multi-threading, memory management, networking and storage, performance and scale.

Salary Ranges:

$178,800.00 - $257,200.00
