A bit about this role:

Devoted Medical’s Everyday Care team is reimagining how primary and virtual care come together to deliver accessible, high-quality, compassionate care for every member. We serve members across the country through our care model, grounded in human, relationship-centered care and supported by technology infrastructure enabling virtual visits, digital communication, and AI agent support.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Clinical Operations who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by the opportunity to build something from the ground up. You’ll be the operational architect behind programs that ensure every member gets the right care, at the right time, in the right way — whether it’s urgent virtual care, lab orders, med refills, DME/home health, or portal-based medical advice: everyday support for all of our members.

If you’re someone who sees a blank page and feels excited, not intimidated — if you love to connect clinical excellence with operational precision and innovative technology — this is the role for you.

You’ll report to the Director of Clinical Operations (Everyday Care) and work closely with Medical Directors and cross-functional partners in product, data, and member experience to bring our clinical vision to life. Your fingerprints will be on the systems, processes, and frameworks that enable Everyday Care to scale sustainably — from hundreds of thousands of members to millions.

What you’ll do:

Build and scale new programs.
You’ll translate clinical vision into scalable systems, workflows, and metrics that make high-quality, equitable care possible at scale. You’ll help design, pilot, and operationalize programs that improve member outcomes and experience — and you’ll love the process of iterating fast.

Drive performance and results.
Own key clinical operations metrics for Everyday Care programs — such as quality outcomes, timeliness metrics, member trust, and engagement measures — and relentlessly drive toward improvement. You’ll spot problems early, diagnose them with data, and rally teams around solutions.

Lead cross-functional execution.
You’ll bring together clinicians, analysts, and product and operations partners to translate clinical priorities into action. You’ll help stand up pilots, monitor impact, and scale successful interventions across the organization.

Be a data-driven problem solver.
You’ll use data to uncover insights, test hypotheses, and continuously improve. Whether it’s care team productivity, encounter throughput, or quality metrics, you’ll make the numbers tell a story — and then act on it.

Continuously improve processes.
You’ll identify bottlenecks and opportunities to simplify, automate, and elevate how our care teams work. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to bring technology and process together for seamless care delivery.

About you:

  • You’re an operator at heart — you love building systems, solving problems, and driving measurable results.

  • You’re comfortable in the gray — ambiguity excites you because it means you get to create clarity.

  • You’ve led complex operational programs in healthcare (4+ years), with ownership over metrics that matter — clinical, financial, or quality outcomes.

  • You’re analytically sharp — data doesn’t intimidate you; it’s your favorite decision-making tool. You’ve used tools like spreadsheet models, SQL, or Looker/Tableau to drive action.

  • You’re a strong communicator who can distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.

  • You’re collaborative and humble, with a growth mindset — always learning, improving, and helping others do the same.

  • You’ve demonstrated success launching or scaling new initiatives — maybe at a startup, a clinic, or a fast-moving health organization.

  • You believe technology and data can help humans do their best work — not replace them.

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI or automation tools — or at least a genuine curiosity about how they can make care better and faster.

  • Graduate-level education (MBA, MPH, MPA) or equivalent real-world experience in healthcare delivery or operations.

You’ll be the operational architect behind AI-enabled, technology-forward, and clinically complex programs that change how our members understand and manage their conditions. Working at the intersection of clinical excellence  and technology, you’ll build systems and processes to deliver healthcare innovation at scale.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations (Everyday Care) and partnering closely with our Medical Directors, you'll shape critical decisions that influence both member outcomes and key performance indicators. As we grow from treating hundreds of thousands of members to millions of members, the operational excellence and strategic frameworks you develop will scale to enable sustainable, high-quality care delivery.

Responsibilities and impact will include:

Performance.
Drive operational excellence that improves quality outcomes for our members—such as 5-Star performance on key Medicare measures, stronger chronic condition management, higher engagement, and reduced avoidable hospitalizations. You will own and build critical components of the Everyday Care operational agenda, including performance tracking, workflow optimization, data integration, and designing systems that help our care teams work smarter and more effectively.

Cross-functional execution.
Lead execution against operating KPIs and clinical and financial goals for our Everyday Care programs. Partner closely with clinical leaders to design and implement interventions that support proactive, whole-person care. Translate clinical goals into clear operational strategies, and shepherd initiatives from early pilot design through full-scale rollout across our member population.

Analysis.
Use data to uncover root causes, identify trends, and surface opportunities to improve member outcomes and care team performance. Examples include analyzing outreach conversion, visit throughput, productivity, engagement patterns, total cost of care, and key clinical quality measures. You’ll ensure that insights turn into action.

Process improvement.
Own a portfolio of high-impact, cross-disciplinary initiatives aimed at making our Everyday Care model more efficient, more member-centered, and more scalable. Partner with product, engineering, data science, compliance, and member experience teams to modernize workflows, automate where possible, and build operational infrastructure that grows with us.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Healthcare ecosystem fluency through hands-on experience at clinics, health programs, payers, or relevant graduate-level education. We value candidates who understand how clinical care, economics, and member experience intersect in real-world healthcare delivery.

  • AI and automation proficiency with curiosity about emerging technologies. Whether you're prompting large language models to streamline workflows, exploring process automation tools, or simply excited about leveraging AI to enhance operational efficiency, we want forward-thinking team members who see technology as a force multiplier.
