Job Description:

dentsu is looking for a Senior Manager of Client Solutions & Planning with solid integrated media expertise to help grow one of our larger retail clients. You will have experience in both traditional and off-line media (TV, Radio, OOH), but a major focus of this role will be on all thing's digital media and performance media. This role will report into the Associate Director of Client Solutions & Planning.

As a Senior Manager of Clients Solutions & Planning, you will be a key member of the team and a primary point of contact for client stakeholders, playing a highly hands-on role in the day-to-day management of planning workstreams. You will also be a critical contributor to the continued growth and evolution of the account—driving strategic planning rigor, advancing the current media plans, and helping scale best practices across teams and workstreams.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate and help lead the strategic media planning/execution across full-funnel media strategies to drive client business outcomes
  • Serve as a trusted resource and leader, providing guidance to junior team members while effectively managing and aligning stakeholders across different levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate ability to use resources (syndicated, proprietary, analyst data) to help guide client's marketing goals and apply to recommendations
  • Work with Investment Teams to outline the strategy, appropriate processes, and timelines to ensure timely and error-free delivery of media plans
  • Understand and adopt new techniques and technologies that are relevant for clients' media strategies
  • Provide relevant insight and input into existing and new media opportunities 
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for both client and internal teams
  • Represent the client's point of view when developing/reviewing work, use this perspective when providing feedback to teams and presenting to clients
  • Provide and discuss industry information on media, markets and related dynamics
  • Train, motivate and develop media planning group documents

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in media planning for large clients
  • Experience in traditional and digital media planning and current knowledge of media trends and innovations
  • Experience supporting local, regional, or multi-market media planning within a larger enterprise framework
  • Experience managing junior team members
  • Understanding of full-funnel media strategies & how to drive measurable business outcomes 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to manage and develop media plans (Ex: Investment Teams, Data & Analytics, Audience & Insights)
  • Working knowledge of Insights & Planning tools (Ex: comScore, eMarketer, Pathmatics, Nielsen)
  • Experience with Media Tools and buying platforms such as DDS, Media Ocean, Spot Toolkit

The annual salary range for this position is $72,000 - $85,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
