Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Client Services Projects to lead a high-performing team within our Clinical Trials Division. In this key leadership role, you will guide project managers responsible for the seamless delivery of clinical trial supplies to patients worldwide. You will collaborate closely with pharmaceutical and biotech partners to optimize supply chain strategies and support the successful execution of complex clinical trials.

Working at the intersection of healthcare innovation and operational excellence, you will contribute to the development of life-changing therapies while driving continuous improvement, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and compliance in a GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to project management teams responsible for end-to-end clinical supply delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong client partnerships through proactive communication, strategic guidance, and exceptional customer experience.
  • Oversee execution of complex clinical trial projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, and implement innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Finance—to support successful project outcomes.
  • Champion continuous improvement, change management, and standardization across the project management function.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and mentor team members to support professional growth and organizational capability.
  • Manage resource planning, workload balancing, and team development.
  • Support financial planning and oversight of project budgets and forecasts.
  • Represent the Client Services organization during audits, customer visits, and key business reviews.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or advanced degree plus 6+ years of experience in clinical trial project management or related pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
    Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience in a project management or clinical supply environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and clinical trial regulations.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex clinical supply chain or clinical trial projects.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong client relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or change management.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency with project management systems and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Salesforce).
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment and influence without authority.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally, based on business needs.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages beneficial due to global customer base).

Preferred

  • Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience in clinical supply chain operations or distribution management.
