Job Description
What does this role entail? The Senior Manager, Centralized Services leads strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiency through process centralization, payables standardization, and data-driven performance management. This role
oversees the design, execution, and continuous improvement of centralized programs and payables workflows. Partnering closely with Operations, Accounting, and Technology, the position ensures streamlined processes, reduced risk, and improved financial performance across the portfolio.
Essential Roles You Will Play:
Lead the design, rollout, and ongoing management of the Centralization Program across operational and financial functions.
Create and maintain program resources, including training materials, templates, job aids, and presentations.
Oversee centralized payables workflows, workload distribution, and performance tracking to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Analyze community and vendor performance data to identify improvement opportunities and recommend process enhancements.
Collaborate with Accounting and Operations to resolve vendor disputes, improve invoice processing, and reduce accruals and reclasses.
Develop and manage dashboards, trackers, and reporting systems for centralized payables and workload management.
Lead cross-functional process revamp and vision planning, including pricing structure and change management design.
Partner with internal teams to communicate progress, mitigate risks, and align strategic objectives with leadership goals.
Documented process improvements with measurable efficiency gains.
Quarterly operational summaries and KPI reports for leadership review.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Hours and Work Environment:
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm

Education and Experience:
Education: Must possess a high school education; however, a BA/BS degree in Business, Accounting or related field preferred.
Experience Preferred: Employment history that demonstrates 5+ years of experience in operations, project management or financial process optimization. Customer service, leasing and fair housing knowledge required. Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata), BI tools and Microsoft Office. Strong understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in workflow design. Excellent communication, organizational skills and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy required.
Computer Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, computer and web-based training software, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and employment documents.

Weights Requirements: Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
Mobility Requirements: The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, and squat. Intermittently required to sit and perform keyboard work.
Travel Requirements: Routine local travel may be required to run business-related errands including but not limited to meetings and training. Non-local travel may be required for business-related responsibilities.
