Position Summary

We’re looking for agile, high-performing talent with a background and experience in leading large-scale transformation programs to join our ETO team based in our new and vibrant Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru. This team works with people across our various functions & businesses globally to drive our enterprise initiatives to enable business outcomes, performance, and transformation.

You will be a trusted advisor to stakeholders. You will be shaping and executing their business transformation agendas. You will help them navigate their largest strategic initiatives and most critical problems at the intersection of business and technology, including digital disruption, enterprise transformation and innovation, global operating models, sustainability, value management, and more

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the business landscape and priorities to define critical strengths and improvement areas.

  • Framing complex problems and developing recommendations based on our business knowledge and analysis.

  • Ownership in translating recommendations into actionable roadmaps.

  • Build strong credibility and relationships at senior levels based on exceptional outcomes, effective communication, compelling storylines, and a positive impact

  • Responsible for assessment of requirements, detailed planning and delivery of the program activities and outcomes, reporting progress against plan and managing risks and issues in close collaboration with assigned Program lead and broader project team.

  • Creating and executing the program-related action plan

  • Managing a complex stakeholder landscape, where stakeholders are engaged effectively to ensure understanding, buying and a smooth path for project delivery; engagement requirements may include third-party vendors and business services hubs

  • Ensuring that the centrally defined transformation methodology and tools are applied appropriately across the programs and/or are modified as appropriate in agreement with the GCC functional leads.

  • Executing business readiness activities to ensure timely go-lives.

  • Ensuring appropriate engagement with program partners across the business.

  • Guide project teams in selecting appropriate technology and frameworks by asking relevant questions.

  • Identify potential project risks related to implementation and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Monitor and address issues that could impact project timelines or outcomes

  • Implement governance reviews and quality assurance

  • In programs which involve transition, Help the transition lead in successfully transitioning work to and from the GCC in a structured and timely way (e.g., solution architecture, knowledge transfer, onboarding, technology offshoring)

  • Own and drive end-to-end transition programs into the GCC, ensuring alignment with enterprise transformation goals.

  • Develop transition strategy, roadmap, and execution plans tailored to business units and geographies.

  • Conduct due diligence and readiness assessments to identify transition opportunities and risks.

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to define scope, SLAs, KPIs, and governance models.

  • Lead cross-functional teams including operations, HR, IT, finance, and legal to ensure seamless execution.

  • Establish and manage transition governance, reporting, and escalation mechanisms.

  • Ensure knowledge transfer, process documentation, and operational readiness for steady-state handover.

  • Drive change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication plans throughout the transition lifecycle.

  • Monitor post-transition performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Required Skills & Qualification:

  • Overall 10+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree required; MBA from Tier 1 preferred

  • 4 to 6years of relevant experience

  • Prior consulting MBB or Big-4 with global transformation experience is highly desirable

  • Proven track record of delivering transformational change on multiple large-scale programmes

  • Ability to inspire cross-functional, virtual, global, and diverse teams

  • Proven ability to deliver results in a complex /global environment and to solve complex business and process problems

  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management, (e.g., persuading and influencing skills)

  • Proven problem-solving and negotiation capabilities along with a process-focused perspective.

  • Consulting mindset with impactful story lining and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working in a matrix hybrid environment, dealing with ambiguity

  • Flexible to work in different time zones, as per business needs

  • Prior experience in Transition and leading few of the below activities preferred

    • Supporting the transition lead in planning and overseeing the transfer of members from one location to another, including but not limited: operational readiness, support documentation, knowledge transfer and acceptance checklists

    • Support in establishing transition E2E plans including infrastructure support models, change management, risk assessment and mitigation, resource planning and service management with clear tollgates

    • Promote awareness of transition planning and support process within the GCC as well as wider GSK

    • Work directly with external contractors on a day-to-day basis to support the transition process during set-up of the GCC

  • Proven experience in managing large-scale transitions across geographies and functions.

  • Strong understanding of GCC models, shared services, and outsourcing frameworks.

  • Expertise in transition methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience in setting up or scaling GCCs in India or other global hubs.
