Job Purpose:
We are seeking candidature from high-performing professionals who are passionate about delivering value and adept at providing strategic advisory to complex business problems. This role within the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) team is a great enabler that bridges strategic gaps and brings together the matrix delivery organization to deliver value on the lines of E3 (Efficiency, Effectiveness and Experience).
As part of this role, you will have exposure to diverse business problems and are expected to bring your “generalist capabilities” to provide innovative solutions that maximizes impact for GSK; problem solving skills and value articulation.
The role has 3 dimensions: Strategic Workforce Management, ETO Value Delivery Management and Vendor Management.
We are looking for someone who is a starter and will help build the strategy as ETO evolves into FY2025 and also execute it as it gets aligned with ETO Leaders. Note we aren’t necessarily looking for an expert but are definitely in search for a person with right passion and drive to achieve these diverse objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisory on Workforce Digitization and Value Delivery
Co-Build strategy with DEx and Biz Ops Lead to develop an industry leading Business Operations & Delivery Excellence team and capability
Engage industry experts to bring outside in perspective on metrics, tools and processes available in the market to continuously improve ETO’s Workforce Management and Delivery Excellence
Delivery Excellence, Workforce Management (DEx.)
Design and build resourcing model and process and enables decision making and high quality reporting to allocate the right person in the right job at the right time. Bring an outside in perspective to develop best-in-class model, technology, with focus on continuous improvement
Support Resourcing (People + Spend) on need basis
Build and report out operational, financial and culture metrics via state-of-the-art dashboards
Visualise relevant metrics and frameworks to measure the value delivered via the transformation team
Use process engineering tools, to improve the flow from current processes, generating financial savings and also higher throughput
VEx. (Vendor Excellence)
Understand the demand from functions / portfolios and translate the skills required for ETO programs into clear vendor requirements
Ensure we get the best resources (on time and expected quality) from vendors in order to be deployed on projects
Define and assess vendor performance and report scorecard and action plans to the ETO LT
Managing vendor billing and disbursements
Required Skills & qualifications:
Experience:
10+ Years of overall experience & 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
MBA (with Operations/Finance specialisation preferred)
Skills:
Value definition > tracking > reporting and strategic outcome alignment: business results, performing cost-benefit analyses and monitoring production KPIs.
Maximize the efficiency of all portfolios
Analytical and strategic thinking with a track record of designing and implementing successful metrics
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels without authority
Leverage data and metrics to produce analysis and provide insights to support leadership decision making
Identify improvement, efficiency and continuous improvement opportunities across portfolios and programs
