Job Description:
MISSION
Chief Strategist manages and develops key stakeholder relationships related to future business opportunities in relation to the Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) portfolio in Korea. He/she:
Supports leadership team in shaping and executing strategic priorities across defense, space, and government engagement domains.
Strengthens ADS position within the Korean market, driving alignment between ADS corporate strategy and customer priorities.
Focuses on building strategic, long-term key stakeholder relationships
Contributes to developing and execution of Country Strategy in support of Lead KAM/ACR
Contributes to defining key milestones and action plans related to strategic campaigns in support of Lead KAM/ACR.
Leads preparation of high-level engagements with Korean government stakeholders, including the Ministry of National Defense, Defense Acquisition Program Administration, Agency for Defense Development, Joint Chiefs of Staffs, Korean Army/Navy/Air Force, and other relevant institutions.
Provides in-depth analysis of Korean defense policy, procurement trends, and geopolitical developments impacting Airbus business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support executive leadership in defining and executing strategic initiatives related to ADS activities in Korea.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Korean government, military, industry, institutes, think tanks, and academia.
Contribute to identifying and shaping of new business opportunities in Air Power, Space Systems and Connected Intelligence domains.
Contribute to execution of campaign strategies (key campaigns) in support of KAM and Campaign team.
Develop strategic messaging, briefing, and engagement frameworks for high-level meetings and official visits related to key ADS campaigns in Korea.
Support ACR/KAM team to become frontline interface and point of contact for selected customers of Airbus Defence and Space in Korea
Develop and maintain close relationships with customers and stakeholders (deliverable: Stakeholder mappings, key account plan, customer intimacy)
Help building a strategic vision on associated markets and drives the country strategy implementation; maintains an up-to-date and robust picture of short & mid-term business potential, aligning with Salesforce.
Contribute business opportunities and supports strategic (aligned with TMWP) and campaign level decisions (per Airbus Manual).
Outputs
Reinforce Airbus visibility and quality engagement on critical business development pursuits : tanker/transport, UAV, mil-sat-com, constellations, intelligence solutions, air defense solutions.
Provide bandwidth for reinforced marketing activities promotion via marketing events, aerospace exhibitions, and company top leadership visits to Korea.
Maintain highest customer satisfaction from key accounts.
Contribution to creating and managing the Key Account Plans for Airbus DS Korea (both governments and industries).
Contribution to Korea Country Strategy for Defence and Space that includes geopolitical and economic analysis.

Ensures Airbus Ethics, Legal and Compliance directives and guidelines are adhered to when dealing with customers analytical skills; ability to see the bigger picture (strategic) and drive mid to long term plans according to Key Account Plans and recommendations.
Ability to prioritize, balance and align interests of stakeholders while developing customer intimacy.
Deep understanding of Korean Government, including structure, vision, policies and affecting the Airbus business Ability to comprehend local and political situations and capable of translating complex business problems into actionable solutions.
Ability to “translate” specific customer needs and behaviours towards Business Units and Campaign teams.
Committed, proactive, self motivated, creative and tenacious in delivering results.
