Senior Manager - Business Analysis

A Brief Overview 

Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements. Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems, alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems. Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

Responsibilities

  • Handles the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting the required quality standards.
  • Advises on project scopes, develops project plans, allocates resources, and coordinates activities across various teams and stakeholders.
  • Approves appropriate technology solutions to meet the identified business needs and assesses the feasibility and impact of implementing new systems or processes.
  • Coaches’ business analysts and technology professionals, provide guidance and support, and ensures team members have the necessary skills and resources to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
  • Counsels’ managers in the development and implementation of technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with business analysis objectives.
  • Authorizes direction on areas of improvement based on interfacing with stakeholders, business teams, clients, and IT professionals.
  • Collaborates with multiple departments to align business analysis activities with the overall company objectives, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize projects and addressing any issues that arise during the project implementation.
  • Interfaces with business analysts and technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Leverages expertise to streamline existing processes, enhance efficiency, and promote best practices across the organization.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of work experience in IT industry
  • 5+ years of work experience in healthcare
  • 5+ years of experience acting as a liaison between the IT development groups and business units for the development and implementation of new systems.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams.
  • 2+ years of experience with MarkLogic
  • 3+ years of experience with MongoDB
  • 2+ years of experience with database Migration

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
