Job Description Summary:

Role Purpose

The Senior Brand Manager – Austria plays a critical role in shaping and executing locally relevant marketing activation across the full Coca-Cola portfolio. As a senior member of a small non–Top9 marketing team, this role provides strategic input into local brand planning and leads major activation workstreams—while still relying on centrally developed brand strategies, IMX toolkits, campaigns, and innovation.

The Senior Brand Manager ensures that global and OU assets are thoughtfully adapted, elevated, and delivered with excellence for local consumers and customers. This role partners deeply with the Marketing Director, system partner (CCH), the local network, and central brand counterparts across Europe to drive strong in market performance and flawless execution.

This is a role for a marketer with solid foundational experience who is ready to take on significant ownership, cross functional leadership, and increased responsibility across Austria’s complex, highly competitive beverage landscape.

What You’ll Do for Us

Brand Activation Leadership & Market Adaptation

  • Lead the local adaptation of centrally developed brand strategies, toolkits, campaigns, IMX assets, and innovation into locally relevant activation plans.
  • Provide input to the Marketing Director on portfolio and brand priorities based on market insights, performance trends, and retailer dynamics.
  • Lead the creative adaptation process ensuring cultural, regulatory, and brand governance compliance.

Campaign Development & Full Funnel Execution

  • Lead the execution of integrated campaigns across digital, social, OOH, experiential, shopper, and in‑store environments.
  • Manage multi-agency workstreams (creative, digital, shopper, experiential) to deliver high-quality output on time and within budget.
  • Ensure alignment with IMX and media teams to deliver full funnel, insight driven campaign plans.

Innovation Activation

  • Lead local readiness and execution for centrally developed innovations across categories.
  • Oversee packaging, claims, toolkit localization, and customer activation materials needed for market launch.
  • Track post‑launch KPIs and provide insights to central brand owners.

Cross Functional & System Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
    • CCH Austria (commercial, customer, marketing, execution)
    • Shopper & Customer Marketing
    • IMX / Media
    • RGM
    • Insights
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain
  • Lead cross functional routines for campaign readiness, activation alignment, and performance review.
  • Represent Marketing in key customer and bottler meetings as needed.

Insights, Analytics & Performance Management

  • Analyze brand performance (volume, NR, share, brand health, digital performance).
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations for local activation and toolkit adaptation.
  • Prepare inputs for business reviews, forecast discussions, and activation step backs.

Marketing Operations & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements, sustainability claims, and local packaging/regulatory needs.
  • Manage purchase orders, budget tracking, invoices, and financial stewardship for assigned projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, calendars, timelines, and activation grids.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of brand management or consumer marketing experience (FMCG preferred).
  • Strong experience adapting centrally created brand assets and strategies for local markets.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder projects with autonomy.
  • Solid understanding of brand building, digital content, multi‑channel activation, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret performance data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and project management capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration skills working with bottlers, agencies, and cross functional partners.
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast paced, resource lean environment.
