Role Overview 

The Boundary Systems & Dependencies Analyst will support the integration strategy and dependency management between SAP S/4HANA and connected systems across Human Health and Animal Health business units. This role ensures seamless interoperability, minimizes disruption during migration, and maintains compliance with enterprise architecture standards. The position requires strong technical expertise, governance skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to ensure successful delivery of integration objectives.  

What will you do in this role: 

  • Support the definition and maintenance of the integration strategy for boundary systems during the SAP S/4HANA migration.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and managing dependencies between SAP and connected systems to ensure alignment with program timelines.
  • Collaborate with architecture, data, and functional teams to validate integration requirements and support solution design.
  • Monitor and report on dependency risks, escalate issues, and support mitigation plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security standards for all integration points.
  • Support testing and validation of boundary system integrations to ensure readiness for Day 1 operations.
  • Assist in governance and oversight for third-party systems and tools interfacing with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in integration processes and dependency management practices.
  • Work with architects to align on remediation and integration needs and associated prioritization.
  • Collaborate with the testing team to make sure boundary and connected systems are fully accounted for in the end-to-end testing, and dependencies are taken into consideration in the test sequencing.

What should you have: 

  • 5+ years of experience in system integration, ERP programs, or IT architecture support roles.
  • Understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration frameworks.
  • Experience supporting dependency management in large-scale ERP transformation programs.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with middleware, APIs, and data exchange protocols.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certifications in SAP Integration, TOGAF, or related architecture frameworks.
  • Experience in life sciences or regulated industries.
  • Exposure to brownfield migration programs.
  • Knowledge of testing strategies and automation tools for integration validation.
