We are seeking a talented individual to join our Oliver Wyman at Marsh.This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Job Overview:
Oliver Wyman Group is in search of a Mid-Level Software Engineer with a solid grasp of MEAN stack technologies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing innovative software solutions and will have the opportunity to grow their leadership skills.

What you need to have:
- Education: A bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Portfolio of completed projects can be considered as the alternative to the formal education.
- Experience: A minimum of 9 years & relevant 3-5 years of experience in software development with a focus on MERN/MEAN Stack technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Express.js, Angular, SQL and NoSQL DBs.
- Experience with GitHub for version control and CI/CD.
- Good understanding of system design, Agile methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
- Good practical LLM knowledge (implementation, practical use).
- Leadership and Communication:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members and provide guidance to junior engineers.
- Effective communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- Capacity to take on lead role in the project.
- Certification
- Good practical knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS preferred) and certification in this area would be a plus.
- If no certification is present, achieving the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certificate in first months of work will be a requirement for success
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to mentor less experienced colleagues.
