In the role as Senior Manager Analog IC Development, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. Your main task will be to manage and develop our Analog IC team, ensuring your team has the capabilities and skill to steer the technology and develop GNs chipsets. The position also includes nontechnical line management responsibilities for our physical team.

The team you will be part of         

In GN Hearing, we are known for great sound quality, design, and technology excellence. At our Headquarter in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of the IC Development team – an integrated part of our platform organization.

You will join a team of highly skilled engineers that are designing our world-class chipsets for the future generations of hearing aids. The team includes a large group of skilled IC design engineers, IC test engineers and IC program/project managers - all committed to our chip set development. You will be part of the IC management team responsible for the execution, strategy and development processes we use.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Together with your team, you will oversee the technology and tasks necessary for implementing the analog portion of GNs Chipset. You will work with IC Developments’ own team of program and project managers to ensure that we staff our projects and deliver according to our commitments.

Especially, you will:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day the Analog IC team across all activities / projects making sure that business objectives are met.

  • Mentoring/coaching and development of the analog team and it team members.

  • Ensure design quality within own area and participate in the department’s deliverables.

  • Own the development, implementation, and maintenance of relevant development processes, guidelines, and methodologies within the IC function with focus on the analog and mixed-signal area.

  • Serve as “Nontechnical” line manager for our Physical IC backend team.

  • Manages budget for own area.

  • Effectively using your technical insight and leadership to participate in chipset strategy development and deployment in close cooperation with other R&D teams.

  • Participate in management and daily communication with relevant subcontractors/suppliers.

To effectively fulfill the role, we imagine that you have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or a related field of study.

  • +10 years of experience from a R&D environment where you worked within the analog and mixed-signal fields of IC/ASIC development.

  • An extensive practical background with Analog CMOS semiconductor IC design. Knowledge with design entry (Concept/Schematic/Simulations) and full custom analog IC layout.

  • Several years of experience with leading a team, building and growing competencies of your team members enabling them to fulfill the business objectives.

  • Proven stakeholder management skills and are capable of handling internal as well as external partners in a complex R&D set-up.

  • You have the ability to follow through and being a trusted partner to your colleagues and senior management.

  • Skilled communicator and you speak and write English fluently.

  • As a person you are initiative-taking, team focused and quality minded.
