We are seeking a senior Sales Leader to join our global Airline & Hospitality Payments team, where innovation knows no borders. This person will lead the efforts on the America’s region, heading a regional team that leads with impact—expanding our fintech footprint across the travel industry by delivering secure, scalable payment solutions tailored to the needs of airlines, hotels and partners. As the Head of Airline Payments Americas, you will lead commercial efforts across the Americas region focused on acquiring new customers and manage the accounts of current customers accelerating market adoption of Sabre Travel Payments. This role blends strategic business development with hands-on sales execution to drive growth in a dynamic, high-opportunity region. You will create and guide a small team through functional leadership, influence go-to-market strategies and build trusted partnerships that fuel long-term success.
Role and Responsibilities
Align airline and hospitality sales strategy for growth and revenue generation for new and existing business, which includes renewals, new sales efforts, and share shifting opportunities across the agency territory
Lead new business development focused on Airline segments to promote Sabre Payments and fintech products.
Drive commercial acquisition and early-stage activation of Sabre Payments customers with a focus on end to end payments
Serve as a trusted advisor to partners navigating payment modernization, supplier enablement, and back-office integration.
Negotiate enterprise-level commercial agreements that support Sabre’s fintech growth strategy.
Act as Payment Subject Matter Expert and collaborate with the Airline and Hospitality commercial teams in the Americas region.
Collaborate with global and regional product, marketing, and operations teams to align regional opportunities with strategic roadmap priorities.
Foster strong relationships with internal leaders/stakeholders across Sabre; responsible for collaboration and global process development across all segments in the region.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sales, commercial partnerships, or business development, preferably in Airline Payments, fintech, or travel technology.
Proven success selling financial payment solutions to travel players ideally with exposure to GDS and Direct channels.
Strong understanding of merchant services, payment acceptance, fraud, chargebacks and reconciliation.
Nice to have knowledge on Virtual Cards and Account to account payments
Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition and long-cycle sales engagements in Latin America or North America.
Experience leading or influencing teams through functional or matrixed leadership models.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align regional strategies to business goals.
Demonstrated experience in handling customer engagement and negotiations with enterprise customers from Americas region.
