Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, AI/GenAI Marketing Strategy, will be the central expert responsible for defining, piloting, and scaling the use of Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI (GenAI) across the entire marketing function. This role's primary mission is to leverage AI to accelerate high-quality lead generation and drive marketing efficiency, specifically through strategic planning, deep cross-functional partnership, and robust team enablement. This role offers the rare chance to be a pioneer in one of the fastest-changing areas of business.
Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):
Strategy, Partnership, and Governance
· AI Strategy Development: Define the 1-3 year AI adoption roadmap for Marketing, identifying high-impact use cases such as campaign design and execution, content, account-based strategies and general marketing team efficiencies.
· MarTech Partnership & Integration: Act as the AI Product Owner for Marketing, partnering extensively with the dedicated MarTech Team to define technical requirements, ensure successful AI tool integration, and troubleshoot platform compatibility.
· Design and build agents to be leveraged across marketing within various LLM tools
· Lead Flow Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Flow Manager to analyze current flow bottlenecks and optimize AI-driven initiatives (like predictive scoring and dynamic routing) to ensure seamless, high-quality handoffs to Sales.
· Sales Alignment & Enablement: Partner with Sales Operations to ensure a cohesive and aligned AI strategy across marketing and sales
· Governance & Ethics: Partner with our legal team to establish guardrails, best practices, and ethical guidelines for GenAI usage, focusing on data privacy, accuracy, and brand compliance across all marketing channels.
II. Enablement and Adoption
· Self-Service Enablement: Design, curate, and maintain a centralized AI Knowledge Hub with validated prompt libraries, approved use-case templates, and tool tutorials tailored for diverse marketing roles (e.g., SEO, Content, Demand Gen).
· Cross-Functional Support & Consulting: Serve as the internal AI Consultant for the wider marketing organization. Provide direct support for specialized, high-priority use cases (e.g., complex data analysis, niche campaign support) while focusing on transferring knowledge back to the functional team.
· Advanced Use Case Development & Piloting: Design and measure pilot programs for critical AI applications (e.g., predictive lead scoring, ABM personalization, content summarization) to validate ROI and create scalable frameworks for others to adopt.
· Training & Mentorship: Develop and lead comprehensive internal training programs and workshops designed to upskill all marketers on responsible and effective AI tool usage.
III. Technical Oversight and Measurement
· Tool Vetting & Advocacy: Research, evaluate, and advocate for best-in-class AI/GenAI platforms that meet diverse marketing needs, providing detailed business cases and technical requirements to the MarTech Team.
· ROI Measurement: Define clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all AI initiatives and efficiency gains (e.g., time saved on copy creation)
· Performance Reporting: Report regularly on the business value generated by AI and enablement programs, clearly demonstrating the adoption rate and financial impact.
· Trend Monitoring: Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving AI/GenAI landscape, competitive advancements, and emerging technologies to ensure the company maintains a cutting-edge approach.
Education & Experience Required:
Required Skills & Experience
· 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, or a highly analytical marketing role.
· 2+ years of dedicated experience working with AI/Machine Learning concepts and/or Generative AI tools (e.g., utilizing LLMs like GPT/Claude, or commercial GenAI marketing platforms).
· Proven ability to bridge the gap between highly technical concepts (data science, APIs) and business outcomes (marketing impact, ROI).
· Deep expertise in the MarTech stack (e.g., familiarity with CRM, CDP, Marketing Automation platforms like, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Digital Asset Management platforms, like Bynder).
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, SQL).
· Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and train diverse audiences.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Skills & Experience
· Experience in a product management or project leadership role focused on technology implementation.
· Familiarity with foundational coding/scripting (e.g., Python) for API integrations or light data manipulation.
· Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) related to AI and consumer data.
