The Senior Manager, AI Adoption supports the enterprise-wide strategy to embed AI technologies, tools, and mindsets across all business areas. This role contributes to developing the capability, confidence, and culture necessary for responsible and effective AI adoption and scaling. The Senior Manager is responsible for delivering programs focused on change management, engagement, and people enablement, driving measurable improvements in adoption and AI maturity across the organisation.
Do work that matters
- Assist in defining and executing the organisation’s AI Adoption and Engagement Strategy, ensuring close alignment with the AI Acceleration Office’s overarching objectives and transformation agenda.
- Partner with the Group Skilling Crew to help design, deliver, and refine enterprise AI capability uplift programs (e.g., Leading with AI, Working with AI), making sure they are accessible, practical, and meet workforce needs
- Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate adoption, engagement, and change management initiatives into the rollout of enterprise AI programs and tools.
- Support the development and implementation of change management and engagement frameworks that enhance awareness, trust, and confidence in AI, ensuring employees understand its purpose, benefits, and safe application.
- Participate in forums to monitor adoption progress, track workforce engagement, and support leadership visibility of adoption performance and challenges.
- Help maintain measurement frameworks to track AI maturity, adoption rates, engagement levels, and capability growth across the organisation.
- Engage with external partners and benchmarking bodies (such as Evident) to assess AI maturity, identify improvement areas, and share best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation by championing AI success stories, supporting internal communities of practice, and encouraging the responsible and impactful use of AI across the enterprise.
About You
- Strong leadership and change management experience, with a demonstrated ability to support large-scale organisational change initiatives and influence at both executive and operational levels to drive sustained behavioural and cultural adoption of AI.
- Experience contributing to transformation and adoption programs that embed new technologies, practices, and capabilities across complex organisational environments.
- Solid understanding of AI applications, workforce capability, and change readiness, with the ability to assess and support workforce readiness.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic communication skills, adept at building trust, transparency, and enthusiasm for AI, and managing relationships across senior leadership, HR, technology, and operational teams.
- Analytical ability to interpret adoption data and design improvement actions, leveraging metrics, engagement feedback, and maturity assessments to identify trends and inform targeted interventions.
Success in this role will be demonstrated through the sustained, measurable embedding of AI adoption within organisational culture—transforming awareness and curiosity into capability and confidence across all workforce levels. The Senior Manager will play a crucial role in driving change through clear communication, coordinated engagement programs, and evidence-based adoption strategies that deliver tangible business outcomes. True success will be achieved when AI is consistently understood, trusted, and used effectively across the organisation, supported by high levels of employee capability, engagement, and advocacy.
