Our Senior Manager of Agile Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence across Agile delivery by leading, coaching, and developing a team of Scrum Masters and Product Owners. This role ensures consistent, effective Agile practices, strong delivery outcomes, and alignment between business priorities and execution across multiple teams and delivery streams.

This leader focuses on how work gets done, enabling teams to deliver value predictably, sustainably, and with high quality—while continuously improving Agile maturity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership & Coaching

· Directly manage and develop a team of Scrum Masters and Product Owners

· Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management

· Foster a culture of psychological safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

· Encourage best practices and support communities of practice

Agile Delivery & Operations

· Ensure consistent application of Agile principles, ceremonies, and delivery standards across teams

· Partner with Leadership to inspect and adapt delivery model and operations

· Identify and address delivery risks, dependencies, and systemic impediments

Product & Execution Alignment

· Support Product Owners in effective backlog management, prioritization, and value delivery

· Support Scrum Masters with best practices, removing roadblocks, and ensuring metrics are being produced and used to make data based decisions

· Ensure clear roles and accountability between Product, Delivery, and Enterprise Technology

· Enable strong collaboration between Scrum Masters and Product Owners to maximize outcomes

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

· Assess Agile maturity and implement improvements at team, program, and portfolio levels

· Standardize best practices while allowing flexibility for team needs

· Leverage delivery metrics and insights to inform decision-making

· Act as a change leader during operating model or delivery model evolution

Stakeholder Partnership

· Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders and delivery stakeholders

· Communicate delivery health, risks, and progress clearly and transparently

· Influence without authority across complex, matrixed environments

Required Qualifications

· Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Agile delivery, product delivery, or technology operations

· Minimum of three (3) years of people management experience leading Scrum Masters, Product Owners, or similar roles

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field

· Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)

· Proven experience improving delivery outcomes across multiple teams

· Excellent coaching, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills

· Ability to balance standardization with adaptability

 Estimated base salary range: $106,500 - $163,900 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
