Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager Strategic Industry Engagement for our Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AECO) for India market. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic leader for Autodesk's AECO business in India, coordinating and defining key go-to-market strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of the Indian market, spanning the public sector, engineering consultancies, architects, and the contractor market. The candidate will also need to demonstrate strong leadership skills and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will shape our AECO country strategy, align with key internal
stakeholders from sales, marketing, and product leadership, and build a strong relationship with our visionary customers. You’ll grow and nurture relationships, develop a country plan, own and execute the expansion strategy, and inspire internal and external contributors to achieve impressive business outcomes and monitor results.
As part of your role, you will be instrumental in establishing and nurturing industry partnerships and alliances. This will involve identifying potential partners, fostering strategic relationships, attending industry events, coordinating with internal teams to align with partner strategies, staying informed about industry trends, and continuously evaluating and improving our partnership strategies.
You will need to be an effective communicator who thinks strategically, writes concisely, speaks easily to small and large audience. You must have the appropriate skills to work across a matrixed-organization and can effectively use data to drive effective business decisions. Autodesk is in a period of exciting and dynamic change as we continue to expand market share through various business growth initiatives and our platform strategy. The successful candidate will have input into the shape, direction, and growth of the organization as we transition through this change and plan for the future.
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic leader, developing and coordinating key go-to-market strategies for the Indian AECO market
Leverage a deep understanding of the Indian market to contribute to growth strategies
Engage with stakeholders across the public sector, engineering consultancies, architects, and the contractor market
Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market trends and competitive landscape
Manage strategic initiatives to drive growth in the India market
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives, demonstrating strong leadership and team-working skills
Experience in creating, implementing, and measuring the success of comprehensive business plans
Ability to travel up to 30%
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of cloud and SaaS technology and business landscape
Strong business fundamentals and a background in solving complex customer problems
Exceptional customer/market research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
Skilled diplomat with executive presence, high level of confidence and maturity with solid experience working across large corporations
Proven ability to influence within a geographically dispersed global organization to build consensus
Demonstrated success using critical thinking to formulate strategic direction and success at skillful negotiation and strategy implementation
Substantial experience in a business role, with an understanding of the nuances in sales and marketing to different cultures
Excellent interpersonal skills required to build strong relationships, and an ability to be highly successful in a matrix management organization
