Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics/Insights

Job Description:

This role is remote-friendly.

The Senior Manager, Analytics is expected to own a portion of a client (line of business or channel) from end-to-end and to serve as the analytics partner for client teams. You will deliver data driven, strategic marketing insights with the support of associates; only needing assistance from senior team members for high-level meetings. You will manage their engagements and to clearly define project deliverables and timelines. You will have a natural curiosity , proactively digging through data to support recommendations and hypotheses.

Data Management:

  • Determine data sources and information needs and develop new data source documentation to provide data engineering direction

  • Access and compile large volumes of media, custom and syndicated data from disparate sources into concise and precise information

  • Ensure data quality by QAing and resolving data discrepancies for reporting

  • Collaborate with diverse teams across multiple time zones to ensure account deliverables are being met

  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes through data/reporting automation, driving efficiency and reducing manual effort

Data Analysis and Presentation:

  • Understand the business processes and leverage the procured knowledge in Planning, Execution and Reporting

  • Interpret data and analyze results to generate insights and produce visuals (charts, graphs) and presentations for summary trend statistics

  • Conduct deeper dives to find specific answers to client inquiries

  • Produce easy-to-understand, error-free, timely deliverables and effectively communicate findings

  • Develop automation via scripts, macros or efficiency models to streamline repetitive tasks.

  • Develop client relationships and partners with internal stakeholders, management, and leadership

  • Mentors and educates junior team members on job-relevant skills (SQL, Tableau, etc.)

  • Demonstrates strong analytical, project management, storytelling and communication skills.

  • Supports the development of measurement strategies; learning agendas and roadmaps with input from senior team members and internal stakeholders.

  • Works to develop subject matter expertise in a domain like mobile, performance marketing, ecommerce, web analytics or social.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a quantitative business environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science or related quantitative field

  • Experience in marketing or media analytics

  • Experience in data visualization (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Datorama) is a plus

  • Experience in SQL, Python, or R is a plus

  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficient in PowerPoint with advanced Excel skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across teams

  • Experience in site analytics is a plus

  • Experience in Measurement (BLS/SLS/MarTech/Search Lift/Closed-Loop/Incrementality/Foot Traffic)

  • Excellent Presentation Skills

  • Advanced Analytics (RBA/Modeled Attribution/MMM/clean rooms/designed tests)

The annual salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
