[What the role is]

The Head of Agency has extensive expertise and experience in domains in social services to supervise strategic initiatives, corporate governance, resource management, organisation, and capability development. They establish and monitor key indicators of the organisation's impact and financial health and prepare strategic plans and annual budgets for approval by the board of trustees. They develop and review framework for the organisation’s operating guidelines and standards, direct the implementation of corporate policies in accordance with governance regulations and drive improvements to the service delivery and operational efficiency. They represent the organisation at external events and are responsible for fostering collaborations with external agencies.

A highly experienced management staff who possesses excellent management and leadership skills, the Head of Agency works in institutional settings, communities, and SSAs. They also work in collaboration with other agencies and ministries in the course of their work.

The Director heads the department and is responsible for the development of the department's strategies, annual budget, and work plans. They oversee the development and implementation of new operational policies and processes to ensure the execution of new services and programmes are in accordance with the organisation standards. They also oversee manpower planning, as well as the performance and professional development of staff in the department.

Requirements: Extensive senior leadership experience in people, private or public sector. Proven expertise in strategic planning, governance, stakeholder management, and capability organisational development. Strong understanding of social services ecosystems with experience working with boards, government agencies, and community partners is an advantage.
