About You and This Role
Are you energized by bringing structure, clarity, and impact to complex maintenance environments? Join our team as a Senior Maintenance Scheduler (for Zone A) in Terneuzen, The Netherlands, where you will play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance execution.
In this role, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously optimizing high‑quality maintenance schedules that align with site priorities and business objectives. Acting as a critical link between Maintenance, Operations, and contract partners, you ensure that approved work is properly sequenced, resourced, and execution‑ready—enabling consistent operational performance and business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain weekly maintenance schedules aligned with site priorities, operational constraints, and resource availability
- Ensure schedules are execution‑ready, including coordination of labor, materials, permits, and access requirements
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve schedule conflicts, constraints, and deviations
- Maintain accurate and timely data in maintenance and scheduling systems in line with established work processes
- Monitor schedule quality, adherence, and productivity metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Contractors to support safe and efficient execution
- Provide guidance and process support to Global Maintenance Work Process (GMWP) roles and less experienced schedulers
- Support consistent application of maintenance scheduling standards and best practices
Qualifications
- A technical vocational degree (EQ4 level, MBO-4 in the Netherlands)
- Experience in maintenance scheduling or work execution within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Proven experience working with maintenance management and scheduling systems (e.g., SAP PM, Primavera, MS Project)
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken
