Senior Maintenance Planner - JLL

What this job involves:

The Senior Maintenance Planner supports the JLL IFM team at HP Corvallis by driving disciplined planning and scheduling of facilities maintenance activities. This role enables proactive maintenance execution, optimized labor utilization, and reduced operational risk by ensuring maintenance work is properly planned, resourced, and sequenced in alignment with site priorities and asset criticality.

The Senior Maintenance Planner operates within standardized maintenance processes and leverages JLL’s CMMS tool, Corrigo, partnering closely with Facility Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to support reliable operations across both standard and critical environments.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities using Corrigo CMMS. Develop weekly and forward-looking maintenance plans aligned to labor availability, asset criticality, and operational priorities. Balance maintenance workloads to maximize technician productivity and minimize reactive work. Identify open, unscheduled, or unassigned work through standard Corrigo queries and drive timely assignment. Adjust schedules in collaboration with site leadership to account for operational constraints, risk, and business needs.
  • Maintenance Execution Enablement: Serve as the primary planning liaison between maintenance teams and site leadership. Coordinate access, special tools, and equipment required to execute scheduled work. Track booked labor, work completion status, and schedule adherence. Support critical environment operations by proactively planning maintenance activities to prevent unplanned downtime and business impact.
  • Materials & Parts Coordination: Coordinate MRO material needs required to support planned maintenance activities. Leverage preventive maintenance material planning and auto-ordering capabilities where applicable in Corrigo. Create asset-related purchase requisitions as needed to support maintenance execution. Track spare parts and supporting documentation to ensure work readiness.
  • Work Order Quality & Compliance: Maintain accurate maintenance plans, work orders, asset information, and labor data within Corrigo. Comply with client and JLL standards and standardized maintenance business processes. Perform periodic reviews to ensure data accuracy and planning effectiveness. Submit updates and corrections through established processes to maintain system accuracy.
  • Reporting, Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Provide routine maintenance planning and backlog reports to Facility Managers. Identify execution risks, capacity constraints, and scheduling gaps with recommended mitigation actions. Analyze maintenance trends, work order flow, and backlog health to support continuous improvement. Collaborate with operations teams to optimize maintenance programs and planning effectiveness.
  • Demands & Work Environment: Ability to walk active job sites, including uneven terrain and operational environments. Routine on-site presence to support planning accuracy and coordination. Ability to travel locally for meetings or job site visits as needed (reimbursed).

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating work for hourly maintenance teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Client service–oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting critical environments or uptime-sensitive facilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience generating maintenance metrics, reports, or performance dashboards.
  • Prior experience using Corrigo CMMS or similar maintenance management systems.
