We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our Artificial Intelligence team. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and operation of AI/ML and GenAI platforms, data pipelines, and production-grade model services that power our multiple AI use cases across ASIA as part of AI enablement.
Position Responsibilities:
AI/ML Engineering & Data Pipelines
- Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines (batch and streaming) to prepare curated datasets for ML and GenAI use cases.
- Partner with Asia data office and IT teams to understand source systems, validate data quality, and define robust data contracts.
- Implement best practices in feature engineering, data modeling, and dataset versioning to ensure reproducibility.
- Partner with Asia Data office and support AI enable related strategic projects
Model Development, Deployment & Operations (MLOps/LLMOps)
- Own end‑to‑end model lifecycle: training, evaluation, optimization, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and manage production-grade CI/CD pipelines for ML and LLM-based systems using Azure, Databricks, and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Establish monitoring for model performance, data drift, hallucination detection, safety triggers, and operational SLOs.
- Build reusable ML/LLM platform components, frameworks, and SDKs to accelerate AI development across teams.
Collaboration & Solution Delivery
- Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions.
- Provide technical guidance on data, modeling approaches, GenAI capabilities, and operational best practices.
- Codify standards, patterns, and reusable templates to improve development efficiency and ensure consistency across the AI team.
Continuous Learning & Innovation
- Stay current with advancements in ML, GenAI, vector databases, and cloud-native AI technologies.
- Evaluate new tools and frameworks to enhance model performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience delivering production-grade ML systems, pipelines, and platform components.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and experience with cloud-native data/compute environments (Azure, Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake).
- Experience with MLOps and LLMOps (CI/CD, model registry, deployment, monitoring, drift detection, prompt management).
- Practical experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks such as Transformers, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, vector databases, and retrieval systems.
- Solid understanding of ML algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and model optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- A proven track record of deploying ML/AI solutions that deliver business value.
- Prior experience with customer analytics, personalization, or conversational AI is a plus.
