Department Overview

The Supply Chain Center is part of a global network that provides world-class Demand & Supply Planning, Order Management, Order Scheduling, Delivery, Distribution & Repair Operations to all entities, being a Center of Excellence globally. Supply Chain Operations is responsible for maximizing the efficiency and productivity of the operations and plays a crucial role in supporting the sales process through proper forecasting, order scheduling & management, securing material availability, shipping, and delivery to our customers.


Job Description

1. Logistics & Trade Compliance Expertise:

  • Operational proficiency in the ATLAS/AES export system, including independent error resolution and direct interaction with the Customs Authorities.

  • Understanding of Customs Economic Procedures about duty and VAT liability.

  • Mandatory digital archiving of the Ausgangsvermerk (Confirmation of Exit)

2. Freight Forwarding Regulations:

  • Management of Dual-Use Items classification and expert management of all German export licenses granted by BAFA.

  • Oversee Sanctions and Restricted Party Screening against EU/German lists.

  • Guaranteed adherence to IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) and the IMDG Code.

  • Essential specialization in high-risk Lithium Ion (UN 3480) and Class 9 batteries and their specific Packing Instructions.


Basic Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum five (5) years of hands-on, practical experience in trade compliance and international logistics, specifically focused on the EU regulatory environment.

  • Certifications: IATA DGR and IMDG Code Certifications (Shipper/Forwarder Level) will be an asset

  • Language: English proficiency (C1/B2 minimum)

  • Background: Proven experience in a heavy weight freight forwarding environment or heavy manufacturing dealing with project logistics.
