Saab, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Engineer to join our Integrated Logistics Support Team in a dynamic and multidimensional environment. In this role, you will create, evaluate, refine, and implement system support and maintenance concepts and plans to support evolving hardware and software systems throughout development and sustainment.
You will conduct supportability analyses using field data and recommend system support improvements to enhance reliability and longevity, such as through an effective obsolescence management program. This position involves close collaboration with program leadership, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders across Saab, Inc.
This position may be performed remotely. Candidates located in the Syracuse, New York area are preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Perform Product Support Analysis (PSA) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) in support of Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA).
Plan and lead customer meetings, including Provisioning Guidance Conferences, Provisioning Conferences, and LORA Guidance Conferences.
Provide provisioning support for the procurement and cataloging of equipment required to sustain systems.
Configure Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) to meet customer requirements.
Travel to Syracuse, NY approximately 5% annually.
Compensation Range: $80,900 - $101,100

Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in an engineering or related discipline with 8+ years of experience, or MA/MS degree with 6+ years of experience, or 12+ years of relevant military or aerospace experience.
Experience with techniques and tools to define, quantify, and analyze supportability issues across multiple ILS elements.
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with SLICwave supportability analysis.
Strong teamwork skills to coordinate needs within an open, multi-tasking engineering development environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and manage customer and subcontractor relationships to meet requirements and coordinate opportunities.
