As a Senior Legal Operations Specialist, you will lead high-impact legal operations initiatives with strong autonomy and strategic ownership, driving operational excellence across areas such as legal spend management, contract management and automation, data reporting and analytics, Jira Service Desk workflows, knowledge management, training, and legal technology optimisation. You will apply sound commercial judgment to balance cost, speed, risk, and scalability, translating data and operational needs into clear actions, implementing efficient and compliant processes, proactively mitigating risk, and acting as a change agent to improve the effectiveness and scalability of the Legal & Compliance function.

<title>Main Tasks & Responsibilities:</title>

- <point>Lead Legal Operations Initiatives. Lead and deliver complex legal operations initiatives, including cross-functional projects, from problem definition through implementation and adoption.</point>
- <point>Partner with Stakeholders. Work closely with L&C and business stakeholders to understand needs, present options and support decisions using clear data and operational insight.</point>
- <point>Manage Legal Spend & Vendors. Manage legal spend end-to-end, including budgeting, reporting, vendor onboarding and offboarding and implementation of spend management tools, with a focus on cost control and value</point>
- <point>Own Data & Service Desk Reporting. Produce and maintain legal operations reports, dashboards, and KPIs, including analysis of matter data and Jira Service Desk usage to identify trends and improvement opportunities.</point>
- <point>Improve Processes & Legal Tech. Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements, automation and system enhancements to improve speed, quality and scalability of L&C work.</point>
- <point>Deliver Training & Onboarding. Plan and deliver L&C training (e.g. L&C Academy Programme) and onboarding.</point>
- <point>Solve Operational Problems. Identify recurring legal operations issues and work with Legal & Compliance, Risk, Procurement, Finance, IT and other teams to implement practical, long-term solutions.</point>

<title>About you:</title>

- <point>You have relevant experience in legal operations, or alternatively in legal roles with a strong focus on processes and technology, or in operations/project management or technical roles working closely with legal teams.</point>
- <point>You have led complex initiatives or projects independently, from problem definition through to implementation.</point>
- <point>You are able to make practical, commercially sound decisions, balancing efficiency, cost, risk, and scalability.</point>
- <point>You have experience using data or operational insights to inform decisions and improve ways of working.</point>
- <point>You collaborate effectively across functions, working closely with legal, business, and technical stakeholders.</point>
- <point>You are comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor, driving change and bringing structure to ambiguous problem spaces.</point>
