Role Details

Regent’s School of Business is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Professor in Sports Management. This is a full-time post, suitable for a passionate and energetic educator with experience of the UK Higher Education sector and Business School teaching.

The successful candidate will be involved in hands-on delivery of our hallmark pedagogy, with a focus on (but not limited to) undergraduate and postgraduate global sports management programmes. We are seeking an individual who can bring to life theoretical aspects of sports marketing, sponsorship, and management in a way that is engaging and experiential for all our learners. The successful candidate will be required to develop and lead the Regent’s undergraduate and postgraduate provision in Sports Management and their expansion. The successful candidate is expected to support the University in building international reputation, expertise and industry network around sports management. In addition to this there will be non-core modules across multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams and topics. This will fit well with someone who has sound knowledge and experience of their own domain but also has a curiosity to explore and expand this repertoire.

In summary, this role would suit an academic who enjoys teaching and curriculum development and is dedicated to student engagement and satisfaction. We encourage collaboration inside and out of the classroom, relish industry connections and bringing different perspectives that enhance the development of future-focussed graduates who are industry ready. Ambition, collaboration and curiosity really are part of our DNA.

Interviews will be held in-person at our beautiful Regent’s University London campus on Wednesday 27th May.

We expect the successful candidate to commence in September.

For an informal discussion please contact Professor Elias Boukrami  Elias.Boukrami@regents.ac.uk   Applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
