The Team:
Join the engine room of S&P Global’s AI transformation. The Impact:
As a Senior Lead, you are the architect-builder of our autonomous future. You will design the "Agentic Loops" that allow our AI to solve complex, non-linear business challenges. Your work moves the organization beyond simple chatbots toward truly autonomous agents that act as intelligent partners for every global employee.

Responsibilities

  • Agentic System Architecture: Design and build autonomous AI agents capable of multi-step reasoning, planning, and "tool-use." You will move beyond static flows to create adaptive agents using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
  • Multicloud AI Orchestration: Orchestrate LLM deployments across a multicloud stack. You will determine the best model for the task—whether it’s Gemini Pro on GCP, Claude on AWS Bedrock, or GPT models via Azure AI Foundry.
  • Hybrid Automation Orchestration: Bridge the gap between low-code and pro-code. Use Moveworks (Creator Studio/SparkActions) for the interface and trigger layer, while building deep "Agentic Backends" using Python and cloud-native serverless functions.
  • Connector & Tool Engineering: Transform internal enterprise services into "Tools" that AI agents can autonomously call. You will design secure, scalable API connectors that allow agents to interact with systems like ADO, ServiceNow, and Concur.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a pod of engineers in the Islamabad hub. Conduct architectural reviews, define coding standards for AI-driven logic, and mentor junior staff and "citizen developers" in agentic design principles.
  • Translational Leadership: Act as the bridge between high-level business problems and technical execution. You will take a complex problem from an HR or Finance leader and translate it into a clear, automated agentic workflow.

What We’re Looking For: REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Workflow Automation, or Systems Integration. We value candidates who have led the implementation of complex business processes using enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, PowerPlatform, Salesforce, or Mendix).
  • Automation Strategy: 5+ years focused on building intelligent workflows. You should have a proven track record of connecting disparate business systems to create a seamless "end-to-end" user experience.
  • Platform & Tools: Hands-on experience with Moveworks (Creator Studio/SparkActions) or similar conversational AI platforms. Familiarity with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure AI Foundry) to host and manage automation logic.
  • AI Integration: A strong interest or experience in using Generative AI (like Gemini or GPT) to make workflows "smarter." You understand how to use LLMs for agentic tasks like intent recognition, data extraction, and automated decision-making.
  • Connector Logic: Deep experience navigating enterprise APIs (REST/SOAP). You know how to build and maintain the bridges between an AI agent and platforms like ServiceNow, ADO, Workday, or Salesforce.
  • The "Pro-Code" Bridge: While we leverage low-code tools for speed, you are proficient in Python or Node.js to write custom scripts, handle complex data transformations, or extend agent capabilities.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Proven Leadership: Experience leading technical projects and small teams. You enjoy mentoring others and helping junior engineers build high-quality, scalable automations.
  • Translational Communication: Exceptional ability to take a complex business problem and translate it into a clear, automated technical workflow for stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications: Professional Cloud Architect (GCP/AWS), or AI/ML Specialty certifications.
  • Advanced AI Tech: Familiarity with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Vertex AI Search) and LLM observability tools (LangSmith, Arize Phoenix).
  • DevOps/MLOps: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Secret Management in a cloud environment.
  • Conversational UX: An understanding of "Bot Persona" and concise copywriting for chat-based interactions.
