As part of the Management Reporting & Profitability team within Finance Enablement, responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Managing several work efforts of the Management Reporting Costing module, which includes the development, implementation, and on-going maintenance of cost allocation rules and data sourcing
- Participate in a significant portion of the month end process ensuring data availability, qualitative review of results, and variance analysis in support of Management Reporting stakeholders
- Collaborating with teammates across Finance, Analytics, and the Lines of Business, from analysts to senior leadership, to ensure consistent delivery of accurate and insightful cost allocation reporting, annual updates and review of methodologies
- Handling ad hoc requests for reporting, cost studies and reacting to impact of new products, hierarchy changes, etc.
Essential Job Functions:
- Partner with colleagues across Finance, Analytics, and Lines of Business, to regularly review and update allocation methodologies to reflect the current operating environment
- Ensure approved methodologies are being applied effectively for BAU processing including month end close and forecast.
- Perform data / process validations and research variances to ensure accuracy and explanations are available to users and stakeholders
- Prioritize monthly and quarterly BAU deliverables while also taking on ad hoc project requests including cost studies and other reporting requests
- Research complex data, process, and reporting issues and effectively summarize findings and recommendations for next steps
- Develop a clear understanding of costing platform (SCI) and cost execution model (Prism) including numerous interdependencies and impact of changes. Apply knowledge to ongoing evolution of the operating environment to ensure changes are handled across all components of processing and result in minimal impact or disruption to LOB reporting
- Proactively work to continuously improve profitability processes and reporting
Required Qualifications/Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data & Analytics, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of analytical experience in Finance, Business or Related Field
- Strong financial and/or accounting acumen, including analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience dealing with complex and large data sets from multiple sources to support analytical and reporting processes
- Passion for continuous improvement especially related to process, accuracy, and details
- Interest, willingness, and ability to assimilate information quickly and succinctly
- Action-oriented; takes initiative to challenge current processes and implement change
- Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively, often with limited direction
- Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met, and quality standards are achieved - ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to understand and interpret client requests/needs, and respond to questions with clear and effective answers, and give cohesive presentations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise including senior executives
- Proactive and effective communicator - strong verbal and written communication skills & willingness to express opinions and consult with others
- Proficient in project management/proven ability to lead cross-functional team projects
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Workday Financials, specifically related to Workday Reporting and Workday Accounting Center / Prism support and operations
- Experience working with other data querying, reporting, and analytical environments / tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce, Oracle OBIEE/OFSAA, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, IBM TM1, Essbase)
- Knowledge of Key’s foundational financial systems, data warehouses / marts, products, and businesses.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $79,000.00 - $146,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
