About the role

The Client Advisor is a highly experienced professional, responsible for supporting and/or leading the delivery of complex client engagements and acting as a trusted advisor to clients. Oversee work on behalf of the client, covering all aspects of BAU system support, project analysis, launches and conversion implementations.

The role provides strategic direction, delivery leadership, and subject‑matter expertise across high‑value or high‑risk engagements, while also contributing to the development of team capability, delivery excellence, and commercial growth.

This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and influence, shaping client outcomes with knowledge, experience and applying best practices for internal, client and partner systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support / Lead the delivery of complex, multi‑workstream client engagements, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards

  • Act as a client‑facing advisor, building trusted relationships with executive‑level stakeholders

  • Provide expert guidance across Total Issuing Solutions offerings and delivery methodologies

  • Identify and manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating appropriately and driving resolution

  • Mentor and coach consultants and senior consultants, supporting capability development and knowledge sharing

  • Contribute to solution design, scoping, and to pre‑sales activity and client proposals and execute deliverables as defined by a Statement of Work (SOW)

  • Establish and maintain a strong partnership with the client, may include senior leadership

  • Understand the clients internal infrastructure, as it relates to a specific SOW

  • Guides the client through change processes and eliminating barriers and mitigating risks where possible

  • Identifies training / knowledge transfer needs for the client throughout SOW execution

  • Drive continuous improvement by contributing to delivery standards, tools, and best practices

  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including Sales, Product, Technology, and Client Management

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Broad expertise and/or specialised knowledge in FIS Total Issuing Systems and ability to use skills to contribute to development of company / client objectives

  • Proven experience in ownership of a function, account or matrix management responsibility

  • Proven track record of working on complex client engagements and/or issues with senior stakeholders

  • Strong delivery, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills

  • Excellent client‑facing communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Experience working in matrixed, global, or fast‑paced environments

  • Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups both internally and externally

  • Ability to operate independently with a high degree of accountability

Desirable

  • Experience within payments, fintech, financial services, or regulated environments

  • Prior experience supporting pre‑sales or solution design activities

  • Experience contributing to development or delivery optimisation initiatives

  • Informal or formal leadership experience (coaching, mentoring, or leading workstreams)

Qualifications

  • Degree‑level education or equivalent professional experience

  • Typically, a minimum of 8 years industry / TIS system specific experience require
