Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant EFT

CHARLOTTE, NC Full time

Step into a high‑impact role where your strategic mind can shape the future of the enterprise.

We’re looking for a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to architect and drive the orchestration of an enterprise‑wide portfolio—translating a bold, multi‑year strategy into real, measurable outcomes that move the business forward.

In this role, you’ll influence how major investments are made, guide portfolio‑level priorities, and design the operating model that enables transformation at scale. From establishing strategy and OKRs to championing value realization and enterprise‑wide adoption, you’ll be at the center of turning vision into tangible progress.

In this role, you will:

  • Portfolio strategy, investment, and operating model

  • Lead the portfolio operating model across multiple EFT and adjacent business/CIO portfolios; set strategy, OKRs, and the portfolio guardrails that drive enterprise outcomes.

  • Support portfolio investment forums (e.g., intake councils, quarterly business reviews) to prioritize across portfolios, adjudicate trade‑offs, and retire lower‑value work; approve scope changes within delegated authority.

  • Design multi‑horizon roadmaps (annual/rolling) with scenario and capacity modeling; align funding, talent, vendor strategy, and risk appetite with delivery commitments.

  • Execution excellence at enterprise scale

  • Standardize and enforce playbooks (intake → prioritization → delivery → adoption → stabilization) across CIO and business groups; drive throughput, cycle‑time, and quality improvements measurable at the enterprise level.

  • Run capacity & pipeline planning across interdependent workstreams; re‑balance in‑year based on outcomes, constraints, and emerging risk.

  • Set the cadence for executive routines; clear systemic blockers (org, tech, vendor, approvals) and hold leaders accountable for outcomes, not activities.

  • Decision enablement & executive engagement

  • Design and deliver executive‑grade decision packets with options, impacts, recommendations, and decision logs; pre‑wire with CFO/COO/CIO partners to accelerate decisions.

  • Publish a single source of truth for portfolio health (schedule, scope, cost, benefits, risk, adoption) with forward‑looking recommendations that drive timely trade‑offs.

  • Cross‑portfolio orchestration & dependency management

  • Maintain an integrated cross‑portfolio dependency map across CIO groups and business lines; anticipate conflicts, negotiate sequencing, and protect critical timelines.

  • Coordinate enterprise cutovers and stabilization; manage operational readiness and hypercare for high‑risk launches.

  • Talent, leadership, and community of practice

  • Lead and coach a matrixed bench of program managers, BAs, and vendor partners; raise the bar on planning quality, risk narratives, data storytelling, and delivery discipline.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • 7+ Years as a Business Services Consultant that bridges the gap between technology and business leadership.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Design multi‑horizon roadmaps (annual/rolling).

  • Demonstrated success aligning and governing operating models and playbooks across multiple business groups and CIO organizations; expert in re‑planning under constraint.

  • Proven track record improving efficiency/quality/cost via capacity management, throughput improvement, and pipeline hygiene at portfolio scale.

  • Mastery across the execution lifecycle—intake, prioritization, delivery, adoption, stabilization—including dependency orchestration and benefits tracking.

  • Advanced KPI/OKR & decision analytics; designs executive dashboards that inform trade‑offs (Excel/Power BI/Tableau or equivalent).

  • Executive presence and decision facilitation excellence (pre‑wires, options, impacts, recommendation, decision log).

  • Credible challenge and early‑issue identification; escalates with data‑backed options to achieve outcomes.

  • Deep experience embedding risk & control requirements (e.g., DARE/DIME, Vendor EOS, IM/SDLC) into plans and evidencing compliance.

  • Familiarity with banking/financial services, customer segments, and digital platforms/products; awareness of market/competitive dynamics.

  • Tools: Jira/Confluence, Power BI, M365; Workday familiarity a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). Advanced degree and/or certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum, Lean Six Sigma) preferred.

  • Be Humble: You're smart yet always interested in learning from others

  • Work Transparently: You always deal in an honest, direct, and transparent way.
