About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant.
In this role, you will:
Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
7 years of analytics, data engineering, or advanced analytics experience, including hands‑on solution development.
Strong hands‑on Python expertise for analytics, automation, and agent tool development.
Hands-on experience and experience building or integrating custom agents, copilots, or chat‑based developer tools.
Hands-on experience with agentic AI design, including multi‑step reasoning, tool calling, and context management.
Hands‑on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) for integrating multiple enterprise systems and data sources.
Experience developing VS Code extensions or chat participants using Node.js / TypeScript.
Working knowledge of Java‑based services supporting analytics or agent backends.
Experience migrating SAS or legacy analytics into modern Python‑based architectures.
Familiarity with cloud‑native development (Azure / GCP) and enterprise SDLC standards.
Proven ability to mentor developers and analytics professionals through hands‑on code reviews and design guidance.
Lead complex agent modules and act as a hands‑on technical mentor for junior developers.
Define platform‑level agent standards, influence cross‑LOB adoption, and partner with senior leadership on roadmap and scale.

Own end‑to‑end delivery of agentic analytics solutions, from design and development through production deployment and support.
Build hands‑on agent solutions using Python‑driven analytics, integrated with MCP‑based enterprise systems.
Develop VS Code chat participants and extensions using Node.js / TypeScript, with backend services in Python and Java.
Design multi‑step, tool‑orchestrated agent workflows that automate analytics, discovery, and monitoring use cases.
Modernize legacy or manual analytics processes into scalable, reusable, agent‑enabled solutions.
Write and review production‑grade code (Python, TypeScript, Java) with strong standards for quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Act as a hands‑on technical leader—mentoring team members and influencing agent architecture and best practices.
Partner with business, risk, and technology stakeholders to deliver impactful, production‑ready solutions embedded directly into developer workflows.
